Terrifyng and with Thorns "Cursed Windeku" is his name - Weekly Battle Challenge
Today the terrifying and popular "Cursed Windeku" takes to the battlefield as the protagonist for the challenge of the week. His thorn ability has made him a regular tank in many clashes.
From Splinterlands and edited with CANVA
In the first position the protagonist makes an appearance, "Cursed Windeku" which I mistakenly usually call "Cursed Wendiku" perhaps because I can't place it in my memory. His ability "thorns" is key to do collateral damage to the enemy, every physical attack he receives translates into less life or armor for whoever damages him that way (as long as he doesn't have an ability that cancels that damage).
In rival terrain the popular Unicorn Mustang appears again, which with its 3 damage points, 4 speed and "void" ability is a formidable offensive tank for multiple types of battles. This one fell in round 2, curiously it didn't tank much magic damage because the battle condition granted "snipe" to mages and ranged attackers. The coup de grace was given by the protagonist of the week.
In the second position nothing more and nothing less than "Arachne thug" a card with "Reach" that I have used frequently for its good damage points, acceptable speed, decent armor and life points in a range although low, useful. In the opponent's formation, the classic Goblin with sneak to attack with physical damage from a distance was chosen to cover that position.
For the third link of my team, the mighty "Ancient Lich" gives himself to respect with a magic attack boosted by the summoner and an ability that allowed him to accumulate life at the same time that with snipe he knocked down the fast Regal Peryton. He took damage several times but got back to 3 health by knocking down the Goblin when he was the last one left to win.
In the enemy team "Falled Summoner" showed up with 4 health and "Magic Reflect" which cost some vitality to Necrosi himself, because although he knocked him down early, the reflection left him with 2 points.
Regal Peryton with his great speed and "flying" ability was in the fourth enemy position, his damage was limited and he fell quickly at the hands of Venari BoneSmith's attack along with Ancient Lich. BoneSmith also damaged Mustang Unicorn, although the "void" ability prevented him from being more forceful.
Void Dragon was also in the battle, specifically at the end of my formation. He along with Magi Necrosi finished off Fallen Summoner and dealt quite a bit of magic damage in the enemy lines, his ability allowed him to escape reflex damage unscathed. Xenith Archer managed to hurt Ancient Lich a bit but his low health, as in the case of the princess, condemned him to a quick defeat.
The complete alineation was:

My opinion:
I think this card is great as a tank, in fact I use it a lot with arachne thug. His attack is boosted at level 3 and gets "heal" at level 5. Added to that at maximum level gets "Slow" to reduce enemy speed, however its high quality is reflected in its price which is currently set at $ 0.47 per card in its normal version. Taking it to its maximum capacity is an important expense but the truth is that for tournament players and high leagues it seems to be a great investment because it is extremely popular.
