Punishment I can't forget during my primary school days
On the 16th of july 2010, it was a lovely morning I woke up and was feeling great and in a happy mood because it was actually my birthday which made me not to forget that day because I don't forget things that happens on my birthday.
I felt good you know because it was my birthday I didn't hurry to school like I used to in other days so I when I got prepared for school it was already 8AM and in my school the momemt its 8AM you're tag as a late comer(being late to school) so before I could get to school it was getting to 9AM because I usually walk to school.
When I get to school premises i was approaching and everybody were already lined up on the assembly ground which we normally do everyday, there was a teacher standing on the entrance of my school told me to stop and knee on the ground which I did, I tried to explain why I was so late but He didn't give me a listening ear and told me to wait for our principal who was addressing the rest of the students on the assembly ground before marching to their various classes.
When my principal came to spot where I was kneeling down He didn't even ask me any questions just ask for His cane and Coboco and flog me so badly my hands became so red I couldn't rub my pam on each other. I thought It was finish and He was about to let me go but that was the beginning, told me to get to His office and knee down and wait for Him there I did, so when He came to me still gave me the flogging of my life I knee down in His office till it was 10AM time for break, He brought me out and Showed me a corner around His office and Ask me to clear all the grasses around there. I was crying, sweating and clearing grass when I was done it was 12PM....I was there thinking and regretting, I couldn't even celebrate my birthday in class with my friends like I planned.
There is no way I can forget that day.
That must have been so painful.
I hope you later got to celebrate your birthday later, maybe at home.
Yeah I actually did but I wasn't in a best mood that day

This is sad. I guess the principal was already pissed Off about something and then vented out the anger on you for just being an hour late. I've been to late to school severally and the one time a teacher whipped me for it, I didn't hesitate to report the teacher to my dad. The next day my dad was in school, he reported the case to the principal, asking him to strictly warn the teacher not to ever beat me again. Lol. Ever since,no teacher dared use anything on me. My hands were too soft that any slight thing left a mark or wound on my skin.
So sorry you had to go through that dear, I wouldn't forget too if I were in your shoes.
Thanks for your care. The principal was very hard to deal with back then, He sometimes stop students on the road even after school hour to discipline. I can't forget them days still
