Espero estén muy bien y estén teniendo una gran semana, hoy les comparto mi proceso de esta pequeña Ilustración que hice en honor al personaje de Ramona Flowers de la película Scott Pilgrim contra el mundo. Hello to all my readers of this amazing creative community! I hope you are doing great and having a great week, today I share with you my process of this little Illustration I did in honor of the character Ramona Flowers from the movie Scott Pilgrim against the world. I hope you like it and I invite you to read me! 💖✨

Materiales/Materials

Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), mis colores, colores pasteles, mis marcadores y corrector líquido blanco.

What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), my colors, my pastel colors, my markers and a white liquid corrector.

✨Paso a paso/ Step by Step✨

Comencé haciendo el boceto del rostro usando de referencia una imagen de Ramona, como siempre intento darle un estilo semi realista al dibujo haciendo trazos pequeños y resaltando partes de su rostro. Comencé a elaborar la piel usando mis nuevos colores pasteles, mezclando azul y rosa para las sombras las agregué en partes como los párpados, partes del flequillo, el cuello y los hombros. Con un color morado delinee todo el borde del dibujo y luego comencé a saturar la piel, pintando con color durazno y naranja pastel, agregué rubor con rosa y rojo y pinte los labios de este mismo tono, con marrón pinte sus cejas y ojos.

I started by sketching the face using an image of Ramona as a reference, as always I try to give a semi realistic style to the drawing by making small strokes and highlighting parts of her face. I started to elaborate the skin using my new pastel colors, mixing blue and pink for the shadows I added them in parts like the eyelids, parts of the fringe, the neck and the shoulders. With a purple color I outlined all the edge of the drawing and then I started to saturate the skin, painting with peach and pastel orange, I added blush with pink and red and painted the lips with this same tone, with brown I painted her eyebrows and eyes.

Continúe saturando la piel con naranja pastel y luego con color negro hice las sombras en el cabello y en sus ojos ya que estos están maquillados, para la camisa y el collar usé un marcador negro y con este mismo hice detalles en el fondo como los corazones y la frase de la película. Fui pintando la parte más importante, el cabello, el cual fue una mezcla de rosados claros para las partes iluminadas y fucsia y rojo para las partes más oscuras. Con marcador morado y amarillo hice algunos garabatos en el fondo como el borde de ella y las estrellas.

I continued saturating the skin with pastel orange and then with black color I made the shadows in the hair and in her eyes since they are made up, for the shirt and the necklace I used a black marker and with this same marker I made details in the background like the hearts and the phrase of the movie. I painted the most important part, the hair, which was a mix of light pinks for the illuminated parts and fuchsia and red for the darker parts. With purple and yellow marker I did some doodles in the background like her border and the stars.

Este es el resultado del dibujo, terminé de saturar un poco más la piel ya que la veía muy pálida y continúe con el corrector liquido blanco para agregar ese brillo en zonas específicas como los ojos, la nariz, los labios y el cabello. Me encantó el resultado y el toque del fondo el agrega ese estilo de comic que también sale en la película. 💖✨

This is the result of the drawing, I finished saturating the skin a little more as it looked very pale and continued with the white liquid concealer to add that shine in specific areas such as the eyes, nose, lips and hair. I loved the result and the touch of the background the adds that comic book style that also comes out in the movie. 💖✨
