I hope you are feeling well and are having a nice Christmas, today I bring you the process of this drawing about one of my favorite movies to watch at Christmas, an iconic scene where Christmas is reflected in all its splendor. Materiales/Materials

• Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), mis colores, marcador rojo y verde, lapicero negro y mis acuarelas.

• What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), my colors, green and red marker, black pen and my watercolors.

✨Paso a paso/ Step by Step✨

Comencé realizando el boceto de todo el dibujo, en la imagen que use para todo el dibujo fue de Jack debajo del letrero de la villa navideña dónde estaba recién conociendo la festividad. Comencé a pintar parte de lo que es los detalles del fondo con mis acuarelas y usando muy poca agua para que se vieran más los colores y no quedarán claros. Fui pintando todo el cielo ya que era lo que más trabajo me iba a tomar, luego las líneas rojas del poste y el traje de Jack.

I started by making the sketch of the whole drawing, the image I used for the whole drawing was of Jack under the Christmas Village sign where he was just learning about the holiday. I began to paint part of the background details with my watercolors and using very little water so that the colors would show more and not be clear. I started painting the whole sky since it was what was going to take me the most work, then the red lines of the pole and Jack's suit.

Poco a poco fui dándole color a cada uno de los detalles, creo que la parte que más me gustó hacer fue pintar la nieve encima del cartel ya que no quería que quedara de un blanco plano sino que le fui dando sombras por las luces de navidad que había alrededor. Al igual que pintar la nieve lo otro divertido de pintar fue a Jack ya que el está usando unas luces para iluminar sus "ojos" y me gustó ir haciendo el degradado de color para que se viera como una luz ahí. Luego de terminar de pintar todo con acuarelas comencé a usar mis colores para destacar los colores de la acuarela y lo primero que pinte fue el cielo ya que quería que destacara aparte de las luces.

Little by little I was giving color to each of the details, I think the part I liked the most was to paint the snow on top of the poster because I didn't want it to be a flat white but I was giving it shadows by the Christmas lights that were around. As well as painting the snow, the other fun thing to paint was Jack since he is using lights to illuminate his "eyes" and I liked to make the color gradient to make it look like a light there. After I finished painting everything with watercolors I started to use my colors to highlight the colors of the watercolor and the first thing I painted was the sky since I wanted it to stand out apart from the lights.

Este es el resultado del dibujo, les dejaré un pequeño tip que me sirvió muchísimo para pintar el traje de Jack y que se viera negro, use marcador rojo oscuro y marcador verde oscuro y la combinación de estos dos hace que se cree un tono bastante oscuro y como ya tenía la hoja preparada con un poco de acuarela negra que use fue más fácil que se viera más oscuro, también hacer esto hace que se puedan ver más los colores que se quieran usar así como se ven las líneas blancas de su traje. Al tener ya pintado lo que quería con color use blanco para hacer los brillos y la nieve alrededor. Siempre amé está película ya que siempre admiraba la calidad del increíble detalle que había y esta escena siempre me pareció increíble tanto por el descubrimiento de Jack con la navidad y por los detalles y luces alrededor. ❤️✨

This is the result of the drawing, I will leave you a little tip that helped me a lot to paint Jack's suit and make it look black, I used dark red marker and dark green marker and the combination of these two makes it create a pretty dark tone and as I already had the sheet prepared with some black watercolor I used it was easier to make it look darker, also doing this makes it possible to see more of the colors you want to use as well as the white lines of his suit. Having already painted what I wanted with color I used white to make the sparkles and the snow around it. I always loved this movie as I always admired the quality of the incredible detail that was there and this scene always looked amazing to me both because of Jack's discovery with Christmas and the details and lights around it. ❤️✨
