Hola mis amigos creativos en hive! Espero se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy, nuevamente les comparto el proceso de uno de mis dibujos y en esta ocasión un dibujo de el personaje Alastor de la serie Hazbin Hotel, el cual es el demonio de la radio y uno de los personajes principales de la serie, después de que la terminé tuve muchas ganas de dibujar a alguno de los personajes y uno de los que más me gustó fue el por su carismática y misteriosa personalidad. Hello my creative friends at hive! I hope you are very well today, again I share with you the process of one of my drawings and this time a drawing of the character Alastor from the series Hazbin Hotel, which is the demon of the radio and one of the main characters of the series, after I finished it I really wanted to draw one of the characters and one of the ones I liked the most was him for his charismatic and mysterious personality. Materiales/Materials

Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja blanca tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador, pinturas, acuarelas, marcadores y un corrector líquido blanco.

What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a white sheet of cardboard size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser, paints, watercolors, markers and a white liquid corrector.

✨Paso a paso | Step by Step✨

Comencé haciendo el boceto, para este dibujo quise salirme completamente del estilo caricatura y hacerlo en un estilo semi-realista en donde tuve que buscar referencias de rostros de hombre para poder construir la estructura de su rostro según como yo lo imagino en su versión realista. Al tener listo el boceto le agregué agua a toda la hoja y luego a las pinturas para poder ir preparando la hoja para pintar, al terminar comencé a construir su tono de piel y a rellenar la mayoría de partes en las que usaría la pintura roja para poder ir adelantando y dejando que se secaran las demás partes, con pintura amarilla pinte la base del tono de sus dientes y mezclando rojo con azul hice un tono morado que use para hacer las partes que llevarían sombreado.

I started making the sketch, for this drawing I wanted to get completely out of the caricature style and make it in a semi-realistic style where I had to look for references of men's faces to build the structure of his face as I imagine it in its realistic version. When I had the sketch ready I added water to the whole sheet and then to the paints to be able to prepare the sheet to paint, when I finished I began to build his skin tone and to fill most of the parts where I would use the red paint to be able to go ahead and let the other parts dry, with yellow paint I painted the base of the tone of his teeth and mixing red with blue I made a purple tone that I used to make the parts that would have shading.

Fui haciendo capa tras capa mientras dejaba que se secaran correctamente para seguir, cada capa seria más intensa a la anterior por lo que usé menos agua. Pinte sus ojos con rojo y continúe profundizando las sombras con la mezcla de color morado y ésta la fui aplicando en zonas de su cabello, su traje y su rostro y luego profundice más el tono amarillo de sus dientes. Ahora comencé a aplicar acuarelas usando muy poca agua para que estás tuvieran más pigmentación y por ende más color, con la mezcla morada pinte la base del color de sus cejas, seguí construyendo sombras y dejando espacios con poco color para las zonas iluminadas. Por último comencé a usar pintura negra para oscurecer aún más las zonas con menor iluminación, para el monóculo use acuarela blanca para ir haciendo capas y poder detallarlo luego y con la pintura morada comencé a pintar su corbatín.

I did layer after layer while letting them dry properly to continue, each layer would be more intense than the previous one so I used less water. I painted his eyes with red and continued to deepen the shadows with the purple mixture and applied it in areas of his hair, his suit and his face and then I deepened the yellow tone of his teeth. Now I started to apply watercolors using very little water so that they would have more pigmentation and therefore more color, with the purple mixture I painted the base of the color of his eyebrows, I continued building shadows and leaving spaces with little color for the illuminated areas. Finally I started to use black paint to darken even more the areas with less illumination, for the monocle I used white watercolor to make layers and to be able to detail it later and with the purple paint I started to paint his tie.

Con un pincel más delgado comencé a detallar el dibujo usando color negro para hacer sus pestañas, delinear sus ojos y pintar su pupila, también para detallar su cejas y el interior de su boca, continúe pintando parte de su traje y su corbatín usando el morado y el rojo de manera intercalada y mientras lo dejaba secar continuaba detallando en su cabello. Con marcador negro pinte los cuernos de venado en su cabeza y la cadena de su lente, con pintura blanca cubrí toda la parte de su monóculo, con color rojo di una forma más estilizada a las puntas de su cabello, acentúe sus ojos, nariz y labios y detalle parte de su traje. Terminando de darle los últimos detalles al dibujo con pintura, use poca agua en la acuarela blanca para hacer los brillos en su corbatín, en su cabello, dientes y nariz y también lo usé para unificar parte del tono de su piel y que se viera más uniforme.

With a thinner brush I began to detail the drawing using black color to make his eyelashes, outline his eyes and paint his pupil, also to detail his eyebrows and the inside of his mouth, I continued painting part of his suit and his tie using purple and red in an intercalated way and while I let it dry I continued detailing in his hair. With black marker I painted the deer antlers on his head and the chain of his lens, with white paint I covered all the part of his monocle, with red color I gave a more stylized shape to the ends of his hair, accentuated his eyes, nose and lips and detailed part of his suit. Finishing the last details of the drawing with paint, I used little water in the white watercolor to make the shines in his tie, in his hair, teeth and nose and I also used it to unify part of the tone of his skin and to make it look more uniform.

Éste es el resultado del dibujo, deje que todo secara para poder agregar los últimos detalles con el marcador y el corrector líquido blanco y cuando se secó use el marcador negro para acentuar sus pestañas y los cuernos en su cabeza, con el corrector líquido blanco hice los brillos en sus ojos, en su monóculo, cabello, traje y corbata y en su nariz, dientes y párpado. Me encantó hacer este dibujo sobretodo porque tenía mucho tiempo sin usar pinturas o acuarelas y fue una buena oportunidad para usarlas ya que la paleta de colores del personaje no tenía mucha variedad lo único que cambia en ella es la variación de los tonos, así que fue una buena excusa para pintar con pinturas y acuarelas de nuevo sobretodo porque me inspiró muchísimo el personaje para dibujarlo y todo el proceso fue bastante satisfactorio. ❤️✨

This is the result of the drawing, I let everything dry so I could add the last details with the marker and the liquid paper and when it was dry I used the black marker to accentuate his eyelashes and the horns on his head, with the liquid paper I made the shines in his eyes, in his monocle, hair, suit and tie and in his nose, teeth and eyelid. I loved doing this drawing especially because I had a long time without using paints or watercolors and it was a good opportunity to use them since the color palette of the character did not have much variety the only thing that changes in it is the variation of the tones, so it was a good excuse to paint with paints and watercolors again especially because I was very inspired by the character to draw him and the whole process was quite satisfactory. ❤️✨
