Se que a todo aquel que ha intentado aprender a maquillarse le ha pasado que ve una foto o un tutorial decide hacerlo y por cualquier motivo, le sale mal y termina siendo algo totalmente diferente a lo que lo habÃa inspirado 😂 en mi caso, esto pasa muy seguido y hoy en especÃfico me salió tan mal que estuve a punto de llorar, pero bueno, en lugar de llorar decidà hablar con ustedes al respecto y aquà estamos: Tu leyendome y yo deshagodandome.
I know that everyone who has tried to learn how to do makeup has seen a picture or a tutorial and decides to do it and for whatever reason, it goes wrong and ends up being something totally different from what had inspired it 😂 in my case, this happens very often and today specifically it went so wrong that I was about to cry, but well, instead of crying I decided to talk to you about it and here we are: You reading me and me deshagodandome.
Okay, comenzaré todo esto diciendo que el post de hoy en realidad serÃa un " tutorial de como hacer un hermoso maquillaje, rápido y fácil, con un toque de turquesa para hacerlo diferente" pero, como su servidora es más ilusa de lo que ustedes creen en lugar de practicar dÃas antes, decidió que ese maquillaje era "muy sencillo y no podÃa salir mal"... ¿Ya dije que soy ilusa?. Para que entiendan el contexto les pondré fotos de la inspiración y obviamente de mi resultado.
Okay, I'll start all this by saying that today's post would actually be a "tutorial on how to do a beautiful makeup, quick and easy, with a touch of turquoise to make it different" but, as yours truly is more deluded than you think instead of practicing days before, she decided that this makeup was "very simple and couldn't go wrong"... Did I say I'm deluded? So that you understand the context, I'll put some pictures of the inspiration and obviously of my result.
Cómo ven el resultado puede parecerse un poco pero no era lo que yo querÃa y por ende vivà un momento de frustración muy grande, era demasiado fácil ¿Cómo no iba a salirme?, Luego decidà calmarme y en eso entra el tÃtulo del post ¿Que hacer cuando no sale como tú quieres?.
As you can see the result may look a bit similar but it was not what I wanted and therefore I lived a moment of great frustration, it was too easy, how could it not come out, then I decided to calm down and that's where the title of the post comes in, what to do when it doesn't come out the way you want.
Lo primero y principal: Frustrate si quieres, pero no te rindas. Hoy por ejemplo puedo decirte que cuando và el resultado no dejé de quejarme y vivir mi momento de rabia, creo que mi mamá pudo sorprenderse de mi nivel para decir palabrotas hoy,😂 pero luego de que vivà mi momento oscuro, me calmé y volvà a la situación con la cabeza fria y dispuesta a arreglar el desastre. Por ende durante tu momento de frustración evita ir a lavarte la cara a la primera, todavÃa algo se puede hacer.
First and foremost: Be frustrated if you want, but don't give up. Today for example I can tell you that when I saw the result I did not stop complaining and living my moment of rage, I think my mom might have been surprised of my level to swear today,😂 but after I lived my dark moment, I calmed down and came back to the situation with a cool head and ready to fix the mess. So during your moment of frustration avoid going to wash your face the first time, something can still be done.
Luego de eso, lo que hago es examinar todo el maquillaje y buscar el error más grande o lo que más feo me quedó o lo que no me gusta, puede ser un delineado, un color, el tono de los labios, etc etc etc... Solo busca lo que para ti sea el mayor defecto.
After that, what I do is to examine all the makeup and look for the biggest mistake or what is the ugliest or what I don't like, it could be an eyeliner, a color, the shade of the lips, etc etc etc.... Just look for what for you is the biggest flaw.
Luego de que lo encuentras: BORRALO, quitalo, elimÃnalo de tu vista y entierralo, en mi caso eso me ayuda a perder el bloqueo que vivo por la frustración de que no salga como quiero.
También recuerda colocarle los detalles finales a todo tu maquillaje, puede que lo que te está faltando para sentirlo perfecto es una cosita mÃnima, y por no haberlo hecho, ni te enteras. Algo de iluminador, rimel o un color de labios diferentes creeme que pueden hacer la diferencia. Los pequeños detalles suelen ser la clave de todo. Y un par de pestañas nunca, pero nunca, están de más.
Si una vez que hayas aplicado los tips anteriores, aún no te convence tu makeup, tienes dos opciones:
- Intentarlo de nuevo en ese mismo momento basándote en arreglar tu error.
- Hacer algo diferente a lo que tenÃas planeado pero salvar la mayor parte del maquillaje.
After you find it: DELETE it, remove it, eliminate it from your sight and bury it, in my case that helps me to lose the blockage that I live for the frustration that it doesn't come out the way I want.
Also remember to put the finishing touches to all your makeup, maybe what you are missing to make it feel perfect is a little thing, and because you haven't done it, you don't even notice it. A little highlighter, mascara or a different lip color can make all the difference. The little details are often the key to everything. And a pair of eyelashes never, but never, are never superfluous.
If once you have applied the above tips, you are still not convinced by your makeup, you have two options:
- Try it again right then and there based on fixing your mistake.
- Do something different than what you had planned but save most of the makeup.
En mi caso decidà dejarme llevar por la segunda opción porque me sentida muy cansada y bueno, arreglé todo lo que pude, inicialmente mi choque fue ese color azul asà que decidà hacer algo un poco más clásico y perfeccionar el delineado negro que ya tenÃa hecho. Asà que aquà me pueden ver, agregándole negro en la lÃnea de agua y colocando un poco de marrón dónde anteriormente iba el azul. Aclaratoria: No planeo dejar de intentarlo, pero por hoy creo que fue suficiente para mà jajajaja. Ya tu decides que tanto quieres intentarlo y si el mismo dÃa quieres lograrlo.
In my case I decided to go for the second option because I felt very tired and well, I fixed everything I could, initially my shock was that blue color so I decided to do something a little more classic and perfect the black eyeliner I already had done. So here I am, adding black to the waterline and putting a bit of brown where the blue used to go. Disclaimer: I don't plan to stop trying, but for today I think it was enough for me hahahaha. It's up to you to decide how hard you want to try and if you want to do it the same day.
Un consejo que te ayudará a no pasar malos ratos, si eres principiante como yo, evita inventar nuevos estilos a última hora. Con esto me refiero a que si tienes una fiesta o evento importante y quieres hacerte un maquillaje nuevo y diferente, intenta practicarlo con anterioridad y varias veces, asà tú técnica mejorará y evitarás terminar como un mapache 15 minutos antes de tener que salir, conste que no tengo nada en contra de los mapaches pero no quiero parecerme a uno😂. Recuerda que está perfecto atreverse a probar cosas nuevas, colores diferentes pero evita salir perjudicada en el proceso.
A tip that will help you not to have a bad time, if you are a beginner like me, avoid inventing new styles at the last minute. By this I mean that if you have a party or important event and you want to do a new and different makeup, try to practice it beforehand and several times, so your technique will improve and you will avoid ending up like a raccoon 15 minutes before you have to leave, note that I have nothing against raccoons but I don't want to look like one😂. Remember it's perfect to dare to try new things, different colors but avoid getting hurt in the process.
