HI EVERYONE!
My i introduce myself?
my name @galih.amenk you can call me Galih or Amenk. I am a guitarist and musician, but i also like to walk to an interesting place. I come from the island of Borneo, precisely in East Kalimantan(Borneo), Indonesia.
This is my first post in the #WednesdayWalk community.
I hope my post can be useful and share experiences with you guys.

On this occasion I will explain about religious tolerance in the place where I live.
In Indonesia, there are six recognized religions. Islam,Christianity, Catholic,Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism.
Religious tolerance here has existed for a long time because there are many tribes, cultures and races here, because difference is beautiful.

Well, in my city near my house there are houses of worship that are close to each other. We live here in harmony. When our neighbors celebrate Christmas, we whose religion is other than Christianity visit a Christian home. Likewise with those who are Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and Confucians.
This proves that here we are religious tolerance for each other.

Lamin House

Lamin houses is a traditional house from East Kalimantan(Borneo). Lamin houses is the identity of the Dayak people in East Kalimantan. Lamin's house is also known as a long stilt house connect. This house can be left by several families because the size of the house is quite large. One of Lamin's houses in East Kalimantan is even inhabited by 12 to 30 families. But the lamin house that I visited this time was a bit small, not so big. probably inhabited about 4 to 5 families.

Lamin house has several characteristics that are generally immediately recognizable. The lamin house is made of "Ulin" wood, a typical Kalimantan wood which is very hard like iron.
On the body of the Lamin house, there are many carvings or pictures that have meaning for the Dayak community in East Kalimantan. One of the functions of the carvings or pictures on the body of the Lamin house is to protect the family living in the house from harm. The danger here is black magic that generally exists in the Dayak community that is used to harm someone. Lamin house has a distinctive color that is used to decorate the body of the house. The typical colors are yellow and black.

This church is very close to my house, about 20 meters in front of my house.

An-Namirah Mosque

This mosque has two floors, the upper floor is exclusively for women and the lower floor is for men.
This mosque also has an ambulance for the general public if anyone needs help.

Buana Agung Temple is still one street with the An-Namirah Mosque, The location of this temple is about 100 meters from the mosque.
The unique thing about this temple is that there is a statue of a human who is using traditional musical instruments such as drums, flutes, and others.Unfortunately no one uses a guitar. Haha 😂 Lol
