[ESP-ENG] Introduccion a la estadistica básica (Media, Mediana y Moda) / Introduction to Basic Statistics (Mean, Median and Mode)

Hola muy buenas a todos compañeros de la comunidad “Hive” hoy quisiera explicarles acerca de unos ejercicios básicos en la estadística, los cuales serían encontrar “La media, mediana y moda”.

Media

Empecemos con la Media, ¿Qué es Media? Se conoce como media a la acción de sumar los valores divididos para la cantidad de valores existentes. También es llamada como Promedio.

Para poder calcular la media de estos valores, primero tenía que sumarlos y el resultado dividirlo por la cantidad de valores existentes.

Realicemos otro ejercicio, pero, este con un cuadro de frecuencia.

Como podemos ver en el ejercicio, debemos observar la tabla que nos da el ejercicio y adicionar una columna más, colocando el resultado de la multiplicación de la frecuencia por los valores, luego de eso, sumamos todas las frecuencias y el resultado que nos dé, será la cantidad por lo que tenemos que dividir la suma del resultado que da al multiplicar la frecuencia por los valores. El resultado que nos de la división, será el valor de la media.

Mediana

Ahora les enseñare dos ejercicios de “Mediana”, antes de realizar los ejercicios, veremos la teoría de mediana, la cual dice: Que la mediana se encuentra en el valor que está en el centro de todo, una vez que se ha ordenado de acuerdo a su magnitud.

Realicemos nuestro primer ejercicio.

Como pudimos observar en los ejercicios de arriba, puse de ejemplo dos ejercicios, los cuales son uno impar y uno par, para mostrar ambas soluciones a la hora de realizar el ejercicio.

Como podemos observar, este ejercicio fue bastante rápido, solamente debemos sumar los valores de la frecuencia y el resultado si es impar, debemos agregarle un 1 para que sea un numero par y al momento de dividirlo nos pueda dar un resultado en número entero, el cual será la posición donde se encuentra la mediana de este ejercicio.

Moda

¿Qué es moda?

Es el dato que más se repite dentro de los valores, como tambien es el dato que tiene una mayor cantidad de frecuencia.

Para resolver este ejercicio, deberemos ordenar en forma de escalera, bien sea de mayor a menor o viceversa, para poder identificar los números que más se repiten, por lo menos en este caso fue el 4 y el 5, por lo cual estos serían la moda “Mo”

Como podemos observar, los ejercicios de tablas en moda, solamente busca el valor con más frecuencia y no el que más se repita.

Mean

Let's start with the Mean, what is Mean? Mean is known as the action of adding the values divided for the number of existing values. It is also called as Average.

In order to calculate the average of these values, I first had to add them together and the result divided by the number of existing values.

Let's do another exercise, but, this one with a frequency chart.

As we can see in the exercise, we must observe the table that gives us the exercise and add one more column, placing the result of the multiplication of the frequency by the values, after that, we add all the frequencies and the result that gives us, will be the amount by what we have to divide the sum of the result that gives when multiplying the frequency by the values. The result that gives us the division, will be the value of the average.

Median

Now I will show you two exercises of "Median", before performing the exercises, we will see the median theory, which says: That the median is found in the value that is in the center of everything, once it has been ordered according to its magnitude.

Let's perform our first exercise.

As we could observe in the exercises above, I put as an example two exercises, which are one odd and one even, to show both solutions when performing the exercise.

As we can see, this exercise was quite fast, we only have to add the values of the frequency and the result if it is odd, we must add a 1 to make it an even number and at the time of dividing it can give us a result in whole number, which will be the position where the median of this exercise is.

Fashion

What is Fashion?

It is the data that is most repeated within the values, as well as the data that has the greatest amount of frequency.

To solve this exercise, we will have to order in the form of staircase, either from highest to lowest or vice versa, to identify the numbers that are most repeated, at least in this case was the 4 and 5, so these would be the fashion "Mo".

As we can see, the table exercises in fashion, only looks for the value with more frequency and not the most repeated.
