FLASH FICTION: The Suicide Bomber
Standing on the edge of the balcony, I saw him walking confidently into the school building. He wore a flappy, white robe which made him unusually fat. The beards on his slender face were heavy, forming scary ringlets. He muttered some words, perhaps his last prayers. In a few minutes, the school bell would ring and the children would meet their untimely death. God forbid! I lifted my rifle, held my breathe, and aimed at the head of the beast. Kaboom! Down he went like a shit coin. Nevertheless, when we rushed to the scene, we saw neither grenades nor any weapon strapped to the waist of the dead man. I would be charged for murder. I had killed an innocent beggar.

Hahahaha I can't stop laughing reading your comment. It reminds me of all the killings going on in the US, especially the recent murder of George Floyd. I agree with your description of the protagonist. Lol
I tend to sympathize with any protagonist (I think most readers tend to do so, at least when they start reading). But your story clearly revealed him to be a trigger-happy idiot, who reminded me too of the cop-killings in the US.
And I can only say that your interpretation of the protagonist is superb, very superb. It reminds one of the brutish recklessness of the police forces around the world, particularly the US.
