House Party Selfie - Lagos Nigeria
Last weekend, a very close friend invited me to a house party in honour of his mother who had her birthday just a few days earlier. She had turned 60, hurray.
The party was wonderful, although only a few guests, precisely less than 20, were invited according to the guidelines of the Lagos State Government on curtailing the spread of Covid-19. There were plenty of local food and drinks to go round while light music played in the background.
Before I left my home for the house party, however, I took the two selfies you now see. As you'll clearly notice, I managed to plaster a thin smile on my face in one while I kept a straight face in the other.
I returned home a bit late on that said date but it was worth the occasion was worth my time.

Cool pictures. I find it difficult to smile intentionally for a selfie...
Hahaha me too
Haha - selfies are not easy on smiles. Nice photo. Happy you are having a good time and that the rules there have eased a bit as well.
Thanks Momogrow. Good to see you around.
Looking happy, looking pensive ... but always, looking regal.
