Staying At Home - An Original Poem

The lazy man now needs not
Give an excuse that there is a lion on the street
To evade work and stay in bed
All day long, like a newborn baby
Now, not only the nagging nanny
Is imprisoned within the walls of the home
To attend to diapers
And lullaby the baby to sleep
For there is now a new virus in town
That confines men to their homes.
The experts say that there is yet no cure
And that the vaccines may take years to come
But to stay at home
Would for the interim intimidate the virus.
You do not know how many grains of rice
There are in a tablespoon
Nor do you know how many times
Your ceiling fan swirls when it is put off
Until you begin to stay at home.

this is a very good poem about a lazy man. May the world be healed from this deadly period it found itself.
