History420.. ramblings... Ancient history of humanity...

All right well where do I begin.

Well let's start off with 40 days of rain.

Every human civilization has had a creation myth which includes floods.

Well actually if we want to get good with that statement the Columbia River has evidence of up to 30 catastrophic floods happening within its channel.

Lake Missoula as well as lake Bonneville all blue through and created a new landscape and path. The remains of that are actually extremely evident on the landscape to this day.

Okay so we've got this massive flood. Lake Bonneville and lake Missoula did not really have enough water to go in a global catastrophic flood.

Personally I think that human beings have been here for a lot longer than we realize. and the main reason why I say that it's hard to find evidence of us being here all the way back then is specifically because modern humans burn their dead.

Then again personally I believe this planet didn't have as much water. As well as ice ages locking up the majority of what water we had on the polar caps...

That basically would mean that most of the middle equatorial area would be completely dry except for Rivers.

It's really funny that the Columbia River has this massive channel going offshore that personally I want to say is carved specifically by erosion happening with a much lower sea level.

This is Google maps. Off the coast of Oregon and Washington we see how these channels are carved.

now if you expand out and follow these channels from the rough sonar topography of the ocean floor we start seeing some crazy things....

personally I believe this is the world's largest and longest river....

Now what we are looking at would be not only the glacial runoff from what currently is Vancouver and British Columbia Canada....

But it also meets up with the drainage for lake Bonneville as well as lake Missoula.

However if it wasn't that much water and especially if it was extremely low water levels.

now we kind of have a problem it takes a very long time for these channels to be carved. I'm sure that there is plenty of silt deposits on the top of them from the ocean covering it all up but....

Looking at what you see is pretty incredible.

I'm not sure I've ever heard of anybody studying this. But to me I would love to know more.

Now if this means that we were geographically locked into a narrow strip of land that we could walk all the way around the world....

That definitely also makes me think because we don't find anyting in a northern latitude.

Anyting lolz!!

Now this would completely change world history. The only sites that we have discovered and really known about are above water!

Or!! # underwater!!!

Oh yeah man...

I have been hearing quite a bit about certain areas like dwarka as well as dodgerland...

On top of that we also have quite a bit of evidence that human beings existed at areas that are covered in water with the mouth of the Nile River being excavated and offshore temples recently being discovered.

Now the Mediterranean really isn't that deep. And I really don't see the Egyptians abandoning such great works of art unless it happened relatively quickly.

So my take on all of this is is that comets bringing water have and did seriously impact the planet providing us the massive amount of water that we currently think that was always been present.

A catastrophic flood covering most of the Mediterranean would definitely be something that people back then would talk about.

Can you imagine how much history we could find about ourselves. And honestly enough it's in front of us and completely dismissed.

Anything made out of stone or carved into stone would definitely be preserved for amazing lengths of time.

personally I think the day ancient humanity is existed here for a lot longer and we are just barely getting back to where we have been before. Possibly this is just one of those things.

Maybe we are stuck in a cycle of entropy. We have grown here before as well as fell many times within our recorded history.

Here is one... World's oldest cookbook!

21 stews with meat and 4 veggies.... Don't think the cooked it separately. But here is oldest recorded menu as well. This is what they ate.

Under Water River Cities:

I've never really thought about under-ocean rivers that may have been not under the sea long ago. It is true, like you said, that they find things under the water in different places around the world, including places in Europe as well.

History in the Water

There is so much history in the water.

History in the Earth

Beyond that I would love to see what might be inside caves and deep inside the earth. It may be a little hollow and probably not flat but who knows. I really would like to investigate what might be found alongside under water rivers as modern big cities and ancient cities and civilizations would generally be near rivers.

Cities Near Underwater Rivers

That means we can probably find cities near rivers inside the ocean even.
