Unboxing Monitor HP Elite Display E232 (Esp/Eng)
A veces las cosas que hacemos sin planificar salen bien (pero solamente a veces). Este fin de semana me llamó un amigo para pasarme el dato de que una persona estaba vendiendo unos monitores nuevos, de caja, a buen precio, que él había comprado uno, me pasó foto de su escritorio donde ya lo tenía instalado, estaba muy contento y me preguntó si yo quería comprar también. En realidad no tenía planificado cambiar mi monitor en este momento, pero me gustaron las especificaciones del equipo y el precio, así que mi mente dijo "Comprar" y hoy traigo el Unboxing en la Comunidad Geek Zone y así estreno también mi Usuario Verificado para empezar la que deseo sea mi Comunidad preferida por el contenido Geek.
Sometimes the things we do without planning work out well (but only sometimes). This weekend a friend called me to tell me that a person was selling some new monitors, out of the box, at a good price, that he had bought one, he gave me a picture of his desk where he already had it installed, he was very happy and asked me if I wanted to buy too. Actually I was not planning to change my monitor at this time, but I liked the specifications of the equipment and the price, so my mind said "Buy " and today I bring the Unboxing in the Geek Zone Community and so I also release my Verified User to start what I want to be my favorite Community for Geek content.
Siempre es emocionante abrir una caja, y ésta no era muy pesada ya que el monitor pesa 3,53 kg, estaba muy bien embalado. Viene con:

El monitor viene separado de su base, nuevamente destaco que todo está muy bien embalado, está bien protegido. La pantalla tiene pegada unas instrucciones de armado, que fueron muy importantes y fáciles de interpretar. La base tiene un moderno su diseño.

La base se fija a presión en la parte posterior del monitor, en un lugar donde calza perfecto sin hacer mayor esfuerzo y queda muy incorporado en el diseño. De acuerdo a las instrucciones los cables debe conectarse y pasar en el medio de la base en el lugar indicado.

La imagen de la izquierda son los puertos que tiene el monitor en la parte inferior. En la derecha dos puertos USB que tiene en el lado izquierdo, por cierto aún no se para que usaría esos puertos USB, no los necesito.

Mi monitor anterior era de 14" con una relación de aspecto más cuadrada, así que cambiar a 23" con un aspecto más panorámico si es una diferencia bastante agradable y fue por lo que me decidí a adquirirlo.
La conexión de cables me parece que está bien acertada la ubicación, y los puertos se sienten fuertes lo que da bastante estabilidad.
Los colores son vibrantes y los veos correctos, no se ven azulados como otros monitores.
El brillo es muy alto, el monitor por defecto viene con un brillo en el nivel 80 (tiene 100 niveles en total) se ve muy bonito al destaparlo y usarlo por primera vez, pero usándolo media hora sentí la vista muy cansada y ya me dolían los ojos, tuve que bajar el brillo bastante, hasta el nivel 25 cuando lo sentí más amable y menos agresivo con la vista, y no se desmejoró la calidad de los colores.

3x USB 2.0My previous monitor was a 14" with a squarer aspect ratio, so switching to 23" with a more widescreen look if quite a nice difference and was why I decided to get it.
The cable connection seems to me to be well placed, and the ports feel strong which gives it quite a bit of stability.
The colors are vibrant and the colors look correct, not bluish like other monitors.
The brightness is very high, the monitor by default comes with a brightness level 80 (has 100 levels in total) looks very nice to uncover it and use it for the first time, but using it half an hour I felt very tired eyes and my eyes already hurt, I had to lower the brightness quite a lot, until level 25 when I felt it more friendly and less aggressive with the view, and the quality of the colors did not deteriorate.
La base o pie es giratorio, pudiendo usarlo tanto en horizontal como en vertical, y aunque este plus no sabía que lo tenía realmente no creo que lo use en la forma vertical, ya que tanto para trabajar en los programas de Ilustración o de Arquitectura, como si lo uso para jugar o ver series y películas, necesito usarlo en forma horizontal; así que aunque está chévere no me llama la atención esta funcionabilidad.
Esta funcionabilidad la usaría si este monitor fuese secundario, que me preste apoyo con referencias por ejemplo, o un video o chat con un cliente, pero como monitor principal prefiero usarlo horizontal.
The base or foot is rotating, being able to use it both horizontally and vertically, and although this plus I did not know it had it really do not think I use it vertically, as both to work in Illustration or Architecture programs, as if I use it to play or watch series and movies, I need to use it horizontally; so although it is cool I do not care about this functionality.
I would use this functionality if this monitor was secondary, to support me with references for example, or a video or chat with a client, but as a main monitor I prefer to use it horizontally.
La base o pie también es ajustable en su altura, tiene un mecanismo muy suave que se utiliza sin ninguna acción adicional más que solo subirlo o bajarlo con las manos, muy agradable y baja bastante prácticamente hasta el escritorio.
Esta función si la agradezco y estoy seguro que la voy a usar muchísimo, ya que mientras trabajo o juego durante bastante tiempo, suelo mover la posición del monitor para cambiar la posición de mi cuerpo un poco y renovar las energías.
The base or foot is also adjustable in height, it has a very smooth mechanism that is used without any additional action other than just raising or lowering it with your hands, very nice and low enough practically to the desk.
I appreciate this function and I am sure I will use it a lot, because while I work or play for a long time, I usually move the position of the monitor to change the position of my body a little and renew my energies.
El ajuste de inclinación me parece genial ya que si estoy cerca lo coloco derecho, pero si me alejo lo inclino un poco hacia abajo para direccionarlo a mi vista.
I find the tilt adjustment to be great because if I am close I place it straight, but if I move away I tilt it down a little to direct it to my view.

Here you can see some of my Digital Illustration works to which I then do Video Editing to upload it to Social Networks to promote myself or for the client. The size of the monitor makes the working experience much easier, since I have a better visual of the tools and interfaces I use.
La tasa de actualización es de 60Hz por lo cual lo hace un monitor estándar o de oficina, porque para que el monitor sea de gamer se prefiere tasas más altas como de 120Hz.
Sin embargo, si siento que mejoré mi equipo de trabajo al hacerlo más cómodo y grande, eventualmente en el futuro quiero adquirir un monitor gamer y dejar este como monitor secundario, usándolo en vertical.

The refresh rate is 60Hz which makes it a standard or office monitor, because for the monitor to be a gamer monitor, higher rates like 120Hz are preferred.
However, if I feel that I improved my work equipment by making it more comfortable and bigger, eventually in the future I want to acquire a gamer monitor and leave this one as a secondary monitor, using it vertically.

Es un monitor hermoso que comparado con el de 14" que tenías anteriormente cambiará tu vida 😅, yo tengo un monitor de 22" y en el veo películas tranquilamente, me encanta desde el primer momento.
Los puertos que tiene disponibles son una gran ventaja ya que el VGA aún se sigue usando pero mas aún el HDMI, y al igual que tu no sabría para que usar los USB 😁.

@musicandreview lo que mas me gusta es que la resolución es full hd en un formato rectangular, por lo cual las series y películas se ven en pantalla completa sin los bordes negros arriba y abajo, solo la película aprovechando al máximo la pantalla sin distorsionar o recortar la imagen
se agradece mucho cuando un monitor hoy en día tiene vga, pero personalmente no lo uso debido a que tengo tarjeta de video y los puertos que tiene son hdmi y dp
