When things don't go as planned 🤫🫂🙃😲 [SPA/ENG].

Feliz Domingo para todos, espero que su día haya servido de descanso, para compartir en familia y con los amigos. Hablando de compartir, en días pasados, nos hicieron una invitación a un sitio nuevo en nuestra ciudad de Maturín. La verdad ese día me sentía bastante bien y en conversación familiar decidimos aceptar.

Happy Sunday to all of you, I hope your day has served as a day of rest, to share with family and friends. Speaking of sharing, in recent days, we were invited to a new place in our city of Maturin. The truth is that day I was feeling pretty good and in family conversation we decided to accept.

Lo cierto fue que el sitio era muy bonito y familiar, pidieron para la cena unos pollos, los cuales demoraron mucho para llegar a nuestra mesa, ya por allí empezamos mal, porque no me gusta esperar por la comida cuando mi hambre está en su punto máximo. Sin embargo, me esforcé mucho por ser paciente, no quería por nada del mundo incomodar a las personas que con tanto cariño nos extendieron la invitación.

The truth was that the place was very nice and familiar, they ordered some chickens for dinner, which took a long time to arrive at our table, and that's where we started badly, because I don't like to wait for food when my hunger is at its peak. However, I tried very hard to be patient, I didn't want for anything in the world to bother the people who so lovingly extended the invitation to us.

Por fin llegaron los pollos pero siendo sincera no fueron del agrado de ninguno de nosotros, creo que teníamos expectativas muy elevadas. Lo cierto fue que aún así, pasamos un momento ameno, nos sentimos agradecidos por el gesto, pero las cosas pudieron haber sido mucho mejor.

Finally the chickens arrived but to be honest they were not to the liking of any of us, I think we had very high expectations. The truth was that even so, we had a pleasant time, we were grateful for the gesture, but things could have been much better.

Lo lamentable del asunto fue que el ambiente se puso algo incómodo, se sentía sentimientos de decepción y algo de frustración. Pues la idea era que pasaramos un grato momento. Yo por mi parte valoré mucho la invitación, entendiendo de igual manera que hay cosas que escapan de nuestro control. Además, no siempre las cosas salen como se planean y no por eso nos vamos a sentir culpables.

The unfortunate thing was that the atmosphere became a bit uncomfortable, there were feelings of disappointment and some frustration. The idea was to have a good time. I appreciated the invitation, but I also understood that there are things that are beyond our control. Besides, things don't always go as planned and we are not going to feel guilty for that.

Creo que esta salida fue un intento por regalarnos un momento de forma sorpresiva de felicidad, aunque del todo no fue así, estoy segura que a fin de cuenta lo que importa es la buena intención ¿Y a ustedes, les ha pasado algo parecido?

I think this outing was an attempt to give us a surprise moment of happiness, although it was not quite like that, I'm sure that at the end of the day what matters is the good intention.
