I would like to share another amazing place of India, Har Ki Pauri is the one of the most sacred Ghats in the city Haridwar of Uttarakhand district. It is a very famous place where thousands of people come from far and wide to take holy bath in the ganga river, as it is believed that all your sins will be forgiven, if you dip in the holy river Ganga.

This is a very famous place where people come from far and wide to take bath. It is said that if you do not come to this river Ganga, all your sins will be forgiven.

It is believed that Bhartihari eventually came to Haridwar to meditate by the banks of the holy Ganga. When he died, his brother constructed the Ghat in his name which later came to be known as Har-Ki-Pauri. This sacred bathing Ghat is also known as Brahmakund

It is said that if you are doing Char Dham Yatra then you should do it from Haridwar where you can purify yourself by taking a bath, I was going to Kedarnath which is my dream destination. Finally my dream came true,To start my journey, I went to Haridwar for a short time where I took a bath to purify my body & soul and then left for Kedarnath.

I feel myself lucky, as everyone comes here and takes bath but Aarti is not everyone's part, Ganga aarti is performing every morning & Evening on the bank of river Ganga.
Thousands of people stay here during Aarti but the arrangements here were good,A big carpet was spread on the ground where people could sit and watch the Aarti,There is no jostling of any kind and people can perform Aarti peacefully.

Uttarakhand is a beautiful place in itself which is full of mountains. It was just the beginning of my journey when I saw such a beautiful sunrise with my own eyes,I kept looking at for some time, it was really relaxing to see the sunrise with amazing Mountain views.

After taking bath, I felt hungry and the crispy kachori of Haridwar is very famous,I did not have enough time to find the famous Kharcha Kachori because I had to complete my next destination as soon as possible. But whatever time I spent in Haridwar, all the talks, every thing, every moment was amazing.

There are many famous temples here but I could not go there. Because I was short on time but I will get time in future,will roam around entire Haridwar and share my entire journey with you guys.
