I told Karen that she bring me some fish from the store
but she apparently didn't listen
So, now that she's in the kitchen
I'll just lie over her bag and make her bore

This simple poem was writen for the Freewritehouse initiative A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words. Feel free to participate if you like.

I based my story on the quality of cats that are very independent and on the fame they have for being vengeful and spiteful (Of course not all of them are like that, not even most of them), but it is a popular saying so I take advantage of that to write. Could be my child's cat. Even if he just ate he forgets he did. He's easily offended till someone goes to the kitchen.
