Retrato en azul y amarillo / Portrait in blue and yellow

Saludos hivers. Aquí estoy nuevamente retomando mis prácticas de dibujo, específicamente, los retratos. Eata vez elegí un rostro femenino y lo hice en mi estilo colorido así que los invito a seguir el desarrollo de este proceso creativo.

Hello hivers. I’m back, picking up my drawing practice again, specifically, portraits. This time, I chose a female face and executed it in my own colorful style, so I invite you to follow along with this creative process.

Como ya lo he venido haciendo, para hacer este dibujo utilicé cartulina de construcción en color anaranjado, creyones óleo pastel, colores y marcador punta fina negro. Hice el boceto con lápiz de grafito.

As I have been doing, to create this drawing I used orange construction paper, oil pastels, colored pencils, and a fine-tip black marker. I created the sketch using a graphite pencil.

Para la piel elegí amarillo para los puntos de luz y azul celeste y azul rey para las partes media y más oscuras respectivamente. Por otro lado, usé lápices de colores rojo y rosado para el maquillaje de ojos de esta chica.

For the skin, I chose yellow for the highlights, and sky blue and royal blue for the mid-tones and darkest areas, respectively. Meanwhile, I used red and pink colored pencils for the girl's eye makeup.

Con crayón negro coloreé el cabello y las cejas, también lo usé en la bandana junto al verde.

I colored the hair and eyebrows with a black crayon, and I also used it on the bandana alongside the green.

Seguidamente coloreé los labios, para lograr un efecto neutro y suave utilicé lápices de varias tonalidades como anaranjado, rojo ladrillo, rosado para los puntos de luz y dorado para el borde y las sombras, esto le dió un efecto muy natural que me gustó mucho.

Next, I colored the lips, to achieve a soft, neutral effect, I used pencils in various shades such as orange, brick red, and pink for highlights, along with gold for the edges and shadows, this created a very natural look that I really liked.

Ahora el turno de los ojos, los delineé con el marcador negro, el cual también usé para dibujar las pestañas, y los coloreé con lápiz azul turquesa.

Time to draw the eyes, I outlined them with the black marker, which I also used to draw the eyelashes, and colored them with a turquoise blue pencil.

Por último usé crayón rosa claro para el fondo y así quedó terminado este colorido retrato 👌🏻😌.

Finally, I used a light pink crayon for the background, and that’s how this colorful portrait turned out 👌🏻😌.
