Saving money is an important skill that anyone needs to have , it is a skill that is as useful as skills of making money itself.

Having a financial capability will give you financial freedom, it gives you flexibility, and helps you to have wondeful choice , it helps you to be able to take care of finances concerning any project which you want to try your hands on..

I know you might be wondering , so how much you should you save??

well there is no specific and general rules on how much you should save , the amount you are to save will depend on your goals , your income and financial strength at the moment ,

for example someone who wants to buy a $1,000,000 will have to save more compared to someone who wants to buy a $300000 house , someone that earns like $10000 monthly would realistically not be able to save more money than the person who earns $200,000 monthly except if the person was just a wasteful spender who is not ready to save..

so how much you should save every month would be or should be determined by your goals and plans , what is most important is that you should save towards your goals and plans so that they will come through..

One of the beautiful to save is that you should save from your salary ,saving up to 20% of your salary is not a bad idea , infact i sometimes give myself a target that i want to save up to 50% of my salary and sometimes i am able to achieve it and there are moments when it did not happen but during the worst case, i make sure that i save at least 20% of my salary.
