My view on Crypto

I always read the news, sometimes only superficially, but I always have an idea of the major events going on in the World. When I was a teenager I used to get my news from International Shortwave stations, like the voice of America, BBC, Radio Moscow, Radio Sophia, Deutsche Welle, Vatican Radio. These were the powerhouses they could be heard very easily as their transmitters were very powerful, or they had relay stations all over the place. The only two stations that were also among the bigger broadcasters that I hardly ever took the time to tune into were Radio Pekin and Radio Tirana, I mean these two were extremely boring.

But what I want to get at is that even back then, late seventies and eighties we got the same thing we are getting now, merely propaganda putting the country where the news comes from in a very good and most often false light. Just as is happening today, but now this includes the media plus social networks. Have you read the stuff they put on Twitter or Facebook or other media? I mean it is amazing, just say this Ukraine war, I have seen on Twitter the same event portrayed as a Russian strike on one account and the same event portrayed as a Ukrainian strike on another account. Now how can you get a real picture of what is happening with this misinformation going around? And in the end the event did not even happen in Ukraine, it is actually a video from one of the wars in the Middle East.

And this, of course is used to give Crypto a bad image, this propaganda is used to portray Crypto as a dark place where all sorts of illegal transactions take place. And I agree, illegal and maybe even criminal transactions do take place in the Crypto sphere, but these transactions are just very small when compared with the transactions made via fiat or other exchange methods, like jewelry, art or just plain old gold.

That is why I actually don't believe that Crypto can be put down, it works just as well as any other media to do business. The idea that Crypto transactions cannot be traced I think is mistaken, I bet there are government agencies that already know how to do this, not only US government agencies, all agencies look into this as for now you can also avoid taxes with Crypto, although eventually I think you will in some way pay these taxes. Nothing escapes government accountants.

But Crypto is being held back, it is a threat to government's and elite control, so we do have to fight hard to keep it alive. Sure I can be wrong and I am seeing what I want to see, but once I get an idea in my head that is it, it just stays there and I don't budge, unless of course there is no way to deny I am wrong.
