Gene & Ashlee’s Eighties Sunday! DailyJams! Every weekend or so I do a bonus music post where I along with my girlfriend dive into the eighties or seventies and we each pick a different band/album/song. This week the year is 1982!

Ashlee picked the band Missing Persons & the 1982 record “Spring Session M”. Starting with the track “Walking In LA” for her DailyJam! For BonusJam it’s the track Mental Hopscotch!

I (Gene) Staying in 1982 went with one of my favorite punk bands The Descendents! Picking the debut 1982 album “Milo Goes To Collage”. First up for DailyJam it’s the song Hope! For BonusJam I go with the song “Suburban Home”

Walking In LA and Suburban Home back to back is a great clash, all glossy synth on one side and garage punk on the other. Milo always felt like it ends before you even settle in

Uh oh, my upvote power is well under 80%, I have to wait and come back later. One more punk drum solo!
