The COMedy Rumble contest is over but its impact is alive and I want to say a big thank you to the founders of the Comedy Open Mic for making it happen, I also want to say a big congratulations to the winners.

My little brother was telling me about how a student mistakenly posted porn on their student and teacher's WhatsApp group, the issue raised concerns in the school.

While discussing it, I remembered my high school days. Internet phones were just coming to life, we had Java and Symbian but they were expensive.

I was in SS2 then, and it is hard to forget that day because, despite the punishment that came as a repercussion of what happened, we still joked about it even at the student reunion party.

It was a Friday, we usually don't do lots of work so we are free to use the music room, computer room and other social activities do happen that day. My class chose the computer room and we were given an hour to use the place so that another class can come in there as well.

We weren't much so we all had a system each to ourselves, we all started doing all sorts of things. I was at room corner using Microsoft word to design a flyer, I was so obsessed with it then.

I noticed everyone gathering around a particular student so I stood up to see what was happening, I was hearing moaning sounds so I was like are these guys crazy?

I walked up to them being an assistant head prefect to stop whatever rubbish they were doing, I got there to see them watching porn. I paused for a while because I was lost, it was the first time I was very close to such a video.

I was short of words, I was blown away and what I saw ceased words from coming out of my mount, I dragged a chair and sat to watch. I haven't sat for 30 seconds when I heard someone speak from the window, he said;

I turned round to see who it was and I got the shocker of my life, my mouth was wide open and I knew we were in deep shit.

The student using the system quickly removed the disk and gave it to me to scratch on the wall since I was closer, I asked why. and everyone looked at me with these weird looks.
I could hear the teacher's voice as he was approaching so I scratched the disk on the wall, I was about to give it back when the teacher slammed the door open. "Give it to me and follow me to the staff room" was all he said as he stretched his hand.

I did as he said and we went straight to the staff room, he asked why I scratched the disc on the wall and I didn't have an explanation. He said he has been standing for over 35 seconds and saw us watching porn, I denied it since the disc was scratched.

The other teachers joined the interrogation and the other students were called in, they all denied it as well. The teacher inserted the scratched disc into the system and it played, it stopped exactly at the scene showing a naked endowed lady and most of the teachers screamed;

At that point, we all confessed and I was punished for lying but I was able to clear my name about who brought the disk to school, I was blamed by my mates for not scratching it well but that wouldn't change anything.

I was so fond of Facebook when I was a teenager, I was very active there. I remembered posting that I want to sell one of my kidneys when I discovered it cost 15 million naira, I actually did it for fun but what happened after shocked me.

It happened on a weekend and after Sunday service, I was called out for a special prayer. I was wondering why because I never told my pastor I needed one, the whole church prayed and I remembered them praying that the Lord should touch my heart so I won't take the wrong step in life.

We got home and I was still confused, my mom woke me up at midnight that same day and started preaching to me.

I asked her what was going on and she said our neighbor said I talked about selling my kidney, I started laughing loud that night and she was surprised.

I told her it was just a joke and I wouldn't do that for any reason, she was worried because she knows when I say I will, I will but not in a situation where my life is at stake.

In the morning, I approached the neighbor and warned her not to tell my mom the stuff I share online again, we ended up laughing about everything most especially the part when I was called out for prayer in the church.
