Uncertainty in the Premier League, teams fate hanging on one another.
I had a hint about a lot of things that happened over the weekend in the English Premier League, you can check my last post through the LINK.

I mentioned how important it was for Chelsea to get all three points against Wolves to recover from the loss to Everton, the team failed to win the match and they have taken a step further into losing their third spot to Arsenal who are putting their best into every match. The two teams are now separated by just one point on the league table which the teams could be switching spots depending on their matchday 36 results, a lot is going on with the Chelsea team right now due to the transferring of the club ownership and I guess it is draining the players psychologically.
They lost to Arsenal and Everton, got a narrow win against Westham United, played a draw against Manchester United and Wolves, and lost to Everton in their last five games, this is not a form we have seen from Chelsea before now in this league campaign. With one point left between them and Arsenal and five points between them and Tottenham, we could see a twist on the table at the end of the season.

As bad as it looks, Chelsea still have the upper hands if they win all three matches left this season. Their next fixture will be against Leeds United, and that doesn’t look like it would be an easy one either. Leeds would put in every effort into squeezing one or more points out of the encounter since they sank into the relegation zone after losing to Arsenal by a goal over the weekend, the team will definitely not be going easy on the Chelsea and we might be seeing another disappointing performance from Chelsea if the team fails to wake from their slumber.

There isn’t much to say about Manchester United after losing to Brighton over the weekend, the 2021/22 season is officially Manchester United's worse season since they couldn't reach 66 points which was their former poorest record of a season.
With 58 points and just one match left, Manchester United stands the chance of falling out of the Uefa Europa League spot for the coming season. Westham United have proven to be worthy of the ticket after defeating Norwich City last weekend, they were dumped out of the Europa League in the semifinal stage and would want to participate in the competition again next season. As it stands Manchester United must win their last fixture against Crystal Palace else Westham might be a big threat to the Europa league experience next season. Westham needs just three points if Manchester United does not win since they have more goals than United this season but Manchester United can have hope if they win since Westham still have Manchester City to play against.

Somehow, Tottenham became the decider of a lot of things as the season approaches the end. They ended Liverpool's hope of catching up with Manchester City in the league and today, they will decide which team will fill the third and fourth position on the table. The result from the Tottenham versus Arsenal match will have lots of impact on both side's progress, a draw will keep things the way they are, a win for Tottenham puts Arsenal and Chelsea in a tight spot and Arsenal could remain 4th if Chelsea wins or go above if they defeat Spurs and Chelsea fails to win.
It would be a tough one for both Arsenal and Tottenham since both sides are in great shape, the only thing that I think can make a difference is the home advantage which could make things work in favor of Tottenham Hotspur.

With Watford and Norwich City been condemned to relegation, Manchester City must be feeling like Champions and I don’t think anything can stop them at this point. They play away to Wolves which might be an issue and might not as well because both sides need the match to strengthen their positions on the table.
Liverpool won’t give up as well against Aston Villa, they might get the opportunity to return into the race if Westham United decides to push City hard which is likely not going to happen but remember it is the English Premier League where the unexpected happens.

So many uncertainties but some are already showing us what it might be like. I know nothing is certain but I see Arsenal staying in 4th or moving to 3rd but Tottenham can't get in anymore. I see City winning the league because Liverpool still have Cup commitment with Chelsea which is why I feel Chelsea might also lose ground a bit that would make Arsenal sneak up more on them. I'm open to so many twists and turns because that's what the Premier League gives us.
A twist at this point is welcomed but I doubt if Arsenal will be able to get past Tottenham tomorrow.
I don't trust Tottenham either but Arsenal would take a point if they have to.
No doubt this season is having an exciting end on all fronts, the race for the title still continues, then arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham fighting for Champions League places and finally the battle for not being relegated is also very close, there are only 2 rounds left and nothing is decided yet, I think Chelsea may lose their 3rd place against Arsenal but in my opinion I do not think they will lose the Champions League places, tomorrow Tottenham vs Arsenal play and some will lose points so I think that despite their recent poor performances they still have room for improvement, we must also wait because anything can happen!
The 3rd and 4th position is not yet fixed, we can see some rotations truly and Everton, Burnley, and Leeds are still tied together in the relegation zone
