COME AND JOIN ME AS I INTRODUCE SOME OF THE HIDDEN GEMS OF EASTERN PART OF SAMAR, REGION 8, PHILIPPINES

Hello, everyone.

Today, I will be sharing with you the beauty of nature sparks within the rocks, sand and wide sea breeze of the ocean.

See these photos below? Can you guess where part of the Philippines we are?
If your answer is Samar ,yes you're right. 😁 Not only Mindanao or Luzon has beautiful places to offer. Thus, Visayas has so much to explore too. Like this place called Hernani, Eastern Samar. Where you can discover amazing rock formations and a wide picturesque view of the ocean and beaches.

These are the places that we visited last Sunday,
Ginduyanan Cove, Panglao Beach and Canhugas Nature Park, these beautiful beaches are found in one place .

Let me give you a brief history about Hernani, Eastern Samar first. This municipality was named as Nag-as before according to Wikipedia , because of the river flowing in the southeast part of the town center. Like Guiuan, this place is surrounded with water too , so there is an abundance of seafood and living creatures too.

THE GINDUYANAN COVE

This is my first time visiting this place. I will be describing this place according to my experience.
You can refer to my photos too below. 😁

How hidden is this place? Well, you will walked through a wide forest and sharp rocks to go down and after those trials ,everything will be worth it!.

Can you see how amazingly stunning this cove is?

Though I got small stitches on my legs because of climbing on the big rock, this scars will reminds me and gives me happiness how grateful I am to witness the beauty of the nature.

PANGLAO BEACH

The rock formation here was due to the big typhoons that hit the municipality, according to my friend. It looks like somewhere in the famous place in Batanes 😊✨.. Beneath these rocks a few walks away is the long beach shore.

This is place is just along the road in Barangay of Nagaja, Hernani Eastern Samar,

You can witness here how wide the ocean is and how long the beach was.

To see such beaut melts my heart. My friends and I walked till we reached the edge. Do you know that the edge of this rock was a deep cliff. Where I only saw it on the movies, 😁. But experiencing it personally? I'm a bit scared at the same time thrilled.

I will be sharing more photos on the second episode of this post.

Canhugas Nature Park

Canhugas is a popular tourist destination. This location has been featured in the news and on social media in the Philippines. Surprisingly, this beach is a hidden treasure that proudly represents the Samar Region.

For sure, I will be back here. 🥰 It's too windy when we visited here and high tide so I don't have photos of the tiny pools and stairs that was located across the beach side.

The municipality redeveloped this area. They make certain that this area is preserved, that everything is natural and at its best. Despite the addition of cottages, the park's coves and rocks remained untouched.

They also put trash bins every side of the cottages... So far, this place was so clean and of course the breeze as well.

It left me speechless when I saw the cove inside the park and the large rocks that surrounded it.

My experience here taught me that nature deserves more attention and love. Not only humans provide us with happiness; nature, on the other hand, provides more but asks nothing in return. Thus, it also gives back negatively when we do not take care of it, such as climate change, which causes typhoons, floods, and other natural disasters.

There are many beautiful places in Samar, including our hometown, but we hope you found this place interesting. If you want to visit or travel here after the pandemic. You can message me and I will take you to these locations. But if you don't want to get lost in the woods, we'll need to hire a tour guide. 😁

Please accept my apologies if you are dissatisfied with my photographs. I'll post more photos in the second part of this post, as I'm still editing some of the photos and for some reason I don't have lot of photos to describe more about the place coz, I am more into fun and enjoy the moment than taking photos. I'm satisfied to have some photos of the place to serve as my remembrance. 😊

Thanks for dropping by @baninan .

This place looks absolutely beautiful! It seems so magical and the formation looks so weird and amazing at the same time. I'd love to jump in the water, but I figure it must be very dangerous as there are strong waves that enter the cove.

Yeah, the place was stunning and it is true dangerous at the same time. It is too windy and waves can pull you out into the deep the sea and rocks are sharp. It's so scary 😁
