Nací en un hogar dirigido por una andina y un llanero. Pueden pensar que mi infancia estuvo marcada musicalmente por lo llanero, con el cuatro como instrumento protagonista, y lo andino, con el violín como protagonista. Pero no fue así. En mi casa sonaba rock y sigue sonando.

Mis padres eran seguidores de Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Rolling Stone y otros. Mentes suspicaces, Help, Simpatía por el diablo, sonaron mucho en el tocadiscos de mis padres.

Fui creciendo y en esa vía hasta la adolescencia, me topé con bandas que aún hoy sigo escuchando: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Chicago, Santana, Blood Sweat & Tears, eran las que acariciaban mis oídos y me transportaban a un mundo de sueños maravillosos.

A finales de la adolescencia, ajusté mis gustos musicales y comenzaron a llamarme la atención las bandas que usaban mucho los metales, como trompetas, trombones, tubas, etc. Allí entran mis favoritas, Blood Sweat & Tears, Chicago y Earth, Wind & Fire.

A estas bandas se sumó la música de Elton John y reafirmé mi gusto musical por las producciones de George Harrison y Eric Clapton, excelentes intérpretes y mejores guitarristas.

Cabe resaltar que, siendo venezolano, pertenezco al grupo de los que no les gusta la música llanera; no la soporto, pero el rock venezolano me parece excelente y tengo mis bandas preferidas.

Son muchos los temas de rock que me gustan, son infinidades las bandas que me apasionan, pero marcando la brújula en dirección a la iniciativa, debo expresar que cuando estoy trabajando en un proyecto que quiero que salga excelente y para que todo esté de buen ánimo, me hago acompañar por “Stayin' Alive” de Barry Gibb, pero la versión que hizo junto con la banda Coldplay.

I was born in a home headed by an Andean woman and a man from the Venezuelan plains. One might think that my childhood was musically marked by Creole music with the cuatro as the main instrument and Andean music with the violin as the main instrument. But it was not like that. In my house rock music was always listened to and still is.

My parents were fans of Elvis Presley, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and others. "Suspicious Minds", "Help!", "Sympathy for the Devil" was often played on my parent's record player.

As I grew up, until my adolescence, I discovered bands that I still listen to today: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Chicago, Santana, and Blood Sweat & Tears. They were the ones that caressed my ears and transported me to a world of wonderful dreams.

Towards the end of my adolescence, I adjusted my musical tastes and began to be attracted to bands that used brass instruments such as trumpets, trombones, and tubas. That's where my favorites come in: Blood Sweat & Tears, Chicago, and Earth, Wind & Fire.

In addition to these bands, I also enjoyed the music of Elton John and reaffirmed my musical taste for the productions of George Harrison and Eric Clapton, excellent performers and even better guitarists.

It should be noted that, as a Venezuelan, I belong to the group of people who do not like the music of the Venezuelan plains; I can't stand it, but I think Venezuelan rock is excellent and I have my favorite bands.
