Greetings to the Succulent Growers Community, this time I am going to show you my Kalanchoe succulent plants.

Kalanchoe Gastoni:

This is the oldest plant, the Kalanchoe gastoni. Although it’s not the original plant it comes from an old mother plant, it has gone through the cycles of daughter plant, then mother plant then flowered and finally withered, giving way to new offspring.

It’s an invasive plant you can see it from its very physical appearance, all around the leaf thousands of new small plants are formed that will later become an independent plant.

It’s a Kalanchoe that although it likes the clarity of the sun can not be directly receiving the sun's rays because its leaves that are very fragile burn, when it is kept in a space with enough sunlight it responds very well.

It’s not a plant that likes a lot of humidity, so we must avoid placing the pot or the soil where it is located because we can rot its roots and stems.

I have used it for many years as a medicinal plant, extract its juice and together with other natural juices such as pineapple and cucumber form a very appropriate alliance for cleansing the body by the ability of Kalanchoe to be rejuvenating and restorative of damaged or neoplastic tissues.

Kalanchoe Daigremontiana:

Next in seniority is my Kalanchoe Daigremontiana, it has also been in my garden for many years. This plant also forms sons around its leaves but produces them in smaller quantities than the Gastoni.

It’s a Kalanchoe mostly for ornamental use because of the typical shape and matting of its leaves, it forms a whitish film as a kind of powder that is protective on the leaf of the plant. If we place this plant directly under the sun's rays, it changes the color of its leaves to a darker green color.

Kalanchoe laxiflora:

This is my last kalanchoe plant, a customer gave it to me as a gift and it has grown rapidly. It grows very abundantly, I will soon reproduce it and place it directly in the sun, since its leaves become more vivid in color and even the whole area around the plant becomes a strong red.

It’s a plant that grows upright but throws its branches in different directions and is good for placing in baskets as an ornamental plant. It also blooms with the flowering stem of this type of Kalanchoes with multiple pink flowers, they are bell-shaped flowers.

All Kalanchoes are invasive so they don't need much care because although they don't require much water and whether or not they are in sun or shade they seek to reproduce abundantly.
