My first day of attending church
Greetings ,everyone !
I'm glad to share my experience in church with my hive family.i'm Muslim by religion, both my mother and my father side are Muslim so I was born into a Muslim community ,I never been to church before because both my primary and secondary level of education I attended Islamic school,is the tertiary level that is a Christian school which is Christian service university college at here they do a lot of church activities so I used not to attend the services because am a Muslim.on 16th of march ,2024 my Christian friend Rose visited me at my hostel that she has come to invite to her church because they are having a program there and she wants me to come but I refuse because I dislike church.
But she didn't give up she was able to convince me to join her to church which was on 19th of march 2024,it was Sunday as well.to my surprise what I use to have in mind about Christian is not true , they are lovely and friendly as well.after the church service a made a lot of friends we socialized and it was fun.and there church service was awesome.
I met there pastor and he is so lovely and approachable.
From than all the doubt I was having about them was not true.it was a happy day for me . that evening I called my Muslim friends to inform them that I have attended church and my experience I had I like to share with them ,they were happy as well .I thank my friend Rose for making my day memorable and I have learned a lot in there church because there were some things in the bible I don't know about so I have learned a lot during their teachings.
On my Monday the new friend I meet call to check up on me and to thank me for attending their church and also thank them for their consene so my Muslim friends you see how lovely our Christian people are should not have bad intentions about them and love each other as one because is the same God we worship .if you see a Christian greet him or her and if a Christian too sees a Muslim she should great as well because we all are one.
So as a proud member of hive community or family I will not keep it to myself I will let you guys know my experience in church with you all because I got you guys.and glad to let you all know.thank you all and have a great day.
