PIXABAY

We have become wanderers
For we sold our true destination
For the pleasures of life
So we move to wherever the wind blows

Our legs have become sore
Pleading for mercy
But our heart is stiffened
Because of monetary gains

Who will save the lame?
Who will carry his weight?
And lead him on his journey
No one

We chase gains only
Deviators of the natural path
Followers of the wrong road
To an unknown destination.

Love this poem. I'd love to include in in a poetry collection I'm compiling for Hive Poets. Could I include yours?
