[ESP-ING] Hallacas time ✨
La hallaca es sin duda uno de mis platos favoritos, siempre espero con ansias estas fechas para poder probarlas nuevamente, porque es que llevan un poco de trabajo y resulta tedioso y costoso hacerlas durante el año.
The hallaca is undoubtedly one of my favorite dishes, I always look forward to these dates to try them again, because they take a little work and it is tedious and expensive to make them during the year.
Desde hace unos años subí de nivel y ya no tengo que lavar hojas ni amarrar las sino que las hago jajajaj, aunque este tuve que lavar porque debido al trabajo ya habían hecho los otros trabajos y me tocó ese.
Since a few years ago I moved up a level and I no longer have to wash leaves or tie them but I do it hahahahahah, although this one I had to wash because due to the work they had already done the other jobs and I had to do that one.
Pasamos toda la tarde y parte de la noche haciendo las hallacas que nos alcanzaran con el guiso que teníamos, y para mí sorpresa salieron más de las que esperaba, pero igual no son suficientes para estar comiendo día tarde y noche como a veces me gustaría jajaja. Le doy gracias a Dios porque dos meses atrás la situación no pintaba para poder hacerlas, y esta semana todo salió bien. Les mando mis mejores deseos para esta navidad y que todos puedan compartir, estar con su familia, pasarla bien y lo más importante que la presencia de Dios esté con ustedes.
We spent all afternoon and part of the night making the hallacas that we could afford with the stew we had, and to my surprise they came out more than I expected, but still not enough to be eating day late and night as sometimes I would like hahaha. I thank God because two months ago the situation did not look good for me to be able to make them, and this week everything went well. I send you my best wishes for this Christmas and that everyone can share, be with your family, have a good time and most importantly that God's presence is with you.
