She dragged her old red box from her closet, spiders had made their homes on it, it was dusty as well. She coughed badly as she dusted.

Since she started living on her own she had not had a reason to travel.

She opened it, hastily she walked into her closet packed most of her clothes and shoved it into the box, just then the landline rang...

Hello! Scarlett it's me Oliver, are you ready?

Hey! Oliver am almost done, she replied.

'Hurry we are running out of time' Oliver replied and hanged off.

Scarlett hurriedly grabbed her box dashed out, there was a black tinted car waiting outside.

Oliver wind down the glass, hurry! They all are waiting to meet you, he stated.

She got into the car, and finally settled in, she was happy they had requested she comes home.

Oliver's phone kept ringing, he kept ignoring the call. The had long waited for a prefect body to rebirth Mildred the family's greatest Goddess, a woman who had lived for more than 9000years and had died few years back, Mildred's spirit had rejected so many bodies.

One more body and Mildred will be reborn, hoping it will be the last.
Oliver smiled in fulfilment and then he sped up.

Scarlett looked at him, it seems someone has been calling, why don't you pick your call, she asked.

Um umm.... He stammered, it's not important.

Okay! She responded.

Swimming in her thoughts, She knew that someday she would reunite with her family, she had the worst times in foster homes and now she is free, she decided to look for her family herself, "thank God she found Oliver Who replied on her timeline claiming to be her cousin, of course they share the same surname "Alexander" she had earlier done her research it still linked her to Oliver Alexander. Her believe is stronger than ever.

Soon they arrived at a castle, she couldn't believe her eyes, the castle was beautifully adorned with expensive accessories. While she was still gazing around, a beautiful lady dressed in black and white, came up to her.

Greetings my lady, may I show you your room? She asked politely.

Scarlett was amazed at her gesture, with a node she agreed, and followed the maid still in awe of her view, there were lots of doors probably rooms, while the walked past doors Scarlett came across a huge portrait of a stunning lady, she has a million smile.

Who is she? Asked Scarlett pointing at the portrait.

Mrs Mildred Alexander, the maid replied without further explanation she pushed a door open and walked in, 'this is your room, if you need anything let me know I will in the next to yours.

Thank you! Scarlett replied.

Scarlett loved her room, she touched almost everything in admiration, she let herself on the bed, the bed is soft nothing like the one she had back home, she stood up pulled the curtains, 'gripped by fear of what she sighted, a clouded window that was sealed with a white dress stained with blood, without hesitating she pulled the curtains together, sat back in the bed, she didn't know what to think. Her heart was racing.

Scarlett...! Scarlett...!! A voice behind a knock on the door came interrupting her thoughts.

That's Oliver, yes! She opened the door.

Freshen up, it's time... Here put on this gown and the necklace, he handed her a white laced gown with a black and red bead necklace,he smiled at her and left.

Scarlett was excited she dashed into the luxury bath tub, showered and dressed up she stared at her reflection, admired how beautiful she looked in the mirror, she said to the lady in the mirror a new life has emerged for us, and I am taking it. Oh yes!

Oliver was already waiting at the door.

'You look beautiful, he said fixing her hair behind her ears, he cleared his throat "now it's perfect ".

Scarlett smiled.

'This way, Oliver showed her the way.

They got to a room, it was dark the door was shut behind them.

Oh mine! Scarlett whispered fearfully at the sound of the door.

They both walked towards the alter, suddenly the whole place was lighted, shockingly it wasn't the bulbs it was candles.

Scarlett's face suddenly went pale, her heart throbbed.

W-what is this place? Scarlett stammered in a frightened tone.

Ssshh... Oliver shush her up

No one utter a word.

A huge table was on the alter besides it there was a glass coffin. Mildred's soul had been trapped in the coffin for years now seeking a rebirth as they believe.

Fear travelled up her spine when she looked up and saw her name boldly written [S C A R L E T T E] she was shaking, she tried to lock herself out of the thought that she was going to be initiated into a cult or probably killed'
"I think it's the family ritual in welcoming a family member, she convinced herself.

Ava walked up to Scarlett and demonstrated some incantations and went back to the alter picked a knife and then opened the coffin, she gave a signal to bring Scarlett up to the alter, so they grabbed her.

No... no... what is happening? Oliver! Oliver!! Scarlett screamed trying to free herself. Her voice went hoarse as she kept screaming and crying.

Oliver kept mute and was focused.

They gave Scarlett several slaps and punches until she stopped resisting.They placed her on the table, tied her to the table, Ava used the knife to cut a part of Scarlett's hand and let her blood flow into a chalice and then they all began to chant victoriously.

Scarlett was beginning to lose consciousness.

Suddenly the door opened, it was the maid and some policemen, they came to rescue Scarlett, the whole castle was surrounded. Oliver and his family were arrested.

The maid was Scarlett's mother, her name is Mia Alexander. Scarlett had a birth mark on her wrist and a strand of red hair.
She had earlier asked Mr Williams to help her do some research on Scarlett using his computer, the research was positive, she was convinced Scarlett is her daughter.

Scarlett was grateful to Mia. Mia kissed and apologized for leaving her at the orphanage gate and at the mercy of the Alexanders.
