RE: The Traveler

I am definitely thinking alter-ego. The way they were mimicking each other's behavior, and yet opposites. I suppose the ending of the optimistic alter-ego disappearing makes perfect sense for the pessimist to hallucinate, and especially since being alone is a big fear for many people. I suppose if Clark was the main character and the one hallucinating, his ending would probably be his loved ones nearby comforting him.

It made me wonder if there is an average thing that people crave when they are dehydrated, or if it is unique among individuals. For instance, I can tell when I am dehydrated when I crave ice-cold soda. I don't like soda, and I don't really like drinks with ice, but when I crave that I know it to be a red flag.

that's an interesting point, I never spent much time thinking about how things would end if the sides were turned like that :)

I don't think I really have a thing I crave when I'm dehydrated, aside from plain old water of course. But that's pretty boring so let's go with a lie instead: I crave ice-cold Eldorado springwater mixed with freshly shaved glacier and garnished with starfruit.

I'm assuming El Dorado spring water has gold dust in it. That's setting the bar high. I respect that:)
