Iniciativa: ¿Cuál es tu edad subjetiva? ¿De qué edad te sientes?
Saludos y bendiciones hivers holísticos, encantada de poder participar en un nuevo tema como parte de otra iniciativa que nos hace crecer y a su vez enfrentar un tema tan controversial como lo es la edad, a muchas personas no les agrada tocar este tema, prefieren obviarlo y la verdad no entiendo las razones por las cuales qué bonito es saberse una persona que acepta por completo su edad, que se siente aún joven, lleno de vida, con capacidades para continuar activo y todo lo que implica sentirse joven sin importar la edad que se tenga.
Greetings and blessings holistic hivers, delighted to participate in a new topic as part of another initiative that makes us grow and in turn face such a controversial issue as it is age, many people do not like to touch this topic, prefer to ignore it and the truth I do not understand the reasons why how nice it is to know a person who fully accepts his age, who still feels young, full of life, with capabilities to continue active and everything that comes with feeling young no matter how old you are.
Gracias a @lilianajimenez por generar este tema tan estupendo, con el cual me siento muy bien, claro que si me lo fuesen propuesto unos diez años atrás no sé qué tan cómoda me fuese sentido al respecto, pero la vida misma se encarga de enseñarnos y ahora siento mucho gusto en tocar este tema de la edad subjetiva y la manera en como me siento con ella, es algo que de verdad me hace sentir muy bien tener este tipo de conversaciones a pesar de que la mayoría de las mujeres prefieren ignorar el tema, pues en mi caso no hay pena ni nada que esconder acerca de la edad ni lo que tenga que ver con ella, pienso que todo es cuestión de madurez.

Es reconfortante que a mis 48 años de edad pueda sentirme como de 35, siento aún muchas ganas de mantenerme activa en todos los sentidos y por ello doy gracias a Dios, porque sé de muchas otras personas contemporáneas conmigo que están como de 60 años, tanto física como mentalmente, no sé qué sucedió o si es el estilo de vida, situación económica o cultural que los mantienen en ese estado tan inactivo que en ocasiones hasta pesar me da porque fueron persona muy activa.
It is comforting that at my 48 years of age I can feel like I am 35 years old, I still feel like being active in every way and for that I thank God, because I know of many other people contemporary with me who are like 60 years old, both physically and mentally, I do not know what happened or if it is the lifestyle, economic or cultural situation that keeps them in such an inactive state that sometimes even gives me regret because they were a very active person.
Para mí la edad, es cuestión de números, lo que realmente importa es sentirse pleno y joven por dentro, llenos de vida y con fuerzas para desarrollar cualquier actividad que nos permita ser personas proactivas. Si algo aprendí de mi padre es que no hay que temerle a la edad, papá fue un hombre muy entusiasta y sabio porque se mantenía eficiente, salía todos los días a caminar largas distancias, era conocedor de múltiples temas lo que hacía estar siempre concurrido por personas que buscaban su ayuda para despejar dudas, le encantaban los libros con actividades de agilidad mental, leer, escuchar música; además de ser muy alegre y lo más importante es que papá decía que se sentía joven.
For me, age is a matter of numbers, what really matters is to feel full and young inside, full of life and with strength to develop any activity that allows us to be proactive people. If I learned anything from my father is that we should not be afraid of age, Dad was a very enthusiastic and wise man because he was efficient, he went out every day to walk long distances, he was knowledgeable about many subjects which meant that he was always crowded by people who sought his help to clear doubts, he loved books with mental agility activities, reading, listening to music; besides being very cheerful and the most important thing is that Dad said he felt young.
Todo está en el estilo de vida que llevamos, la actitud que mantenemos y por supuesto las ganas que le pongamos a la vida; hoy día veo muchas personas jóvenes desperdiciando la juventud en hacer nada y me da tanto dolor porque cuando estamos jóvenes pensamos que nos quedaremos en esa edad para siempre, resulta que así se pasa la vida y creo que esa es una de las razones por las que las personas se sienten y se ven viejos.
Everything is in the lifestyle we lead, the attitude we maintain and of course the desire we put into life; today I see many young people wasting their youth doing nothing and it gives me so much pain because when we are young we think we will stay at that age forever, it turns out that this is how life goes by and I think that is one of the reasons why people feel and look old.
No hay nada mejor que vivir como si tenemos 15 primaveras, esa edad en la que uno se siente aventurero, que puede con todo y que quiere más y más, claro que a mi edad hay que ser cautelosos, pensar bien en cada decisión que tomamos, pero siendo siempre felices, viendo la vida diferente, de mil colores, porque la vida simplemente es bella, cuando aprendemos a valorar la vida comprendiendo que esta es solo un regalo del cielo, nos sentimos como niños y eso también es válido, sentirse lo más chiquito y consentido.
There is nothing better than living as if we were 15 years old, that age when we feel adventurous, that we can do anything and want more and more, of course at my age we have to be cautious, think carefully about every decision we make, but always being happy, seeing life differently, in a thousand colors, because life is simply beautiful, when we learn to value life understanding that this is just a gift from heaven, we feel like children and that is also valid, feeling the smallest and spoiled.
Que no importe nunca la edad, que vengan esos próximos 49, 50, 55, 60 y todos los que Dios me quiera regalar, los acepto con gratitud infinita, sintiéndome llena de vida, enérgica y con muchas ganas de seguir viviendo a plenitud.
May age never matter, may those next 49, 50, 55, 60 and all the others that God wants to give me come and go, I accept them with infinite gratitude, feeling full of life, energetic and eager to continue living to the fullest.
