Backstage Photography On Black and White | Monomad Challenge

Hi, friends in the black and white community. How are you guys? I hope we are always in good shape. Have you ever done backstage photography? Backstage photography is usually related to taking photos centred on singers or art events, whether it's dance or things related to the stage. This time I had the opportunity to cover a concert event, which was my first time doing backstage photography.

Usually, backstage photography is closely related to the media, and sometimes some artists bring personal photographers to capture their moments on stage.

The event organizer invited me to this concert event, so my position is not tied to the media or the artist. And the photos that I have are also free for publication. And here are the photos that I managed to capture at the event.

Regarding her profile, her name is Fatin Shidqia. She was the first winner of the talent search event, the first season of X-Factor Indonesia. After successfully getting first place, she is now actively releasing albums and singles and starring in several advertisements.

And the last one is Ola Eleanor. He is one of the alumni of the tenth season of Indonesian Idol. But he didn't make it into the top ten and had to be eliminated while still in the top thirteen.

I was fortunate to be able to capture the moment when they were singing. My difficulty is that I don't have a lens with a far focal length and a small aperture, so in the process of taking photos, I have to use a large ISO to capture the moment quickly. However, with the use of a large ISO, of course, the resulting image will have a lot of noise. So, in editing, I made it black and white and added grain to the photo.
