First Time Ride Cable Car At Taif

Hi, hive friends. I will share one of my experiences while going to the city of Mecca. And coincidentally, I went to Mecca to perform one of the worships for Muslims, namely Umrah. But here, I will not share my spiritual experience. Instead, I will share my experience when I rode the cable car for the first time. And this is one part of the city tour, and the location is in Taif.

Getting to the city of Taif takes approximately 1 hour by bus. Taif city itself is the only city filled with plants and trees, while in other cities, it is quite rare. In Taif, we made many stopovers, such as enjoying traditional food and rose gardens and going to the fruit market. And what I like the most is riding the cable car because this is my first experience riding this vehicle.

Before continuing our journey to the cable car tourist spot, we stopped to rest and pray at a nearby mosque.

Long story short, we finally arrived at the cable car tourist spot. The place is not too far from where we ate, and it just requires a slightly uphill trip. It only took us 30 minutes and our group to get to this location.

Don't forget to capture some photos of my group of friends. A little story about my friends during this tour, I made new friends, all of whom have very good personalities. Even though we've only known each other for a few days, it feels like family. So that when travelling the atmosphere is always happy.

It looks like the trip using the cable car is far because the stop is not visible. 🤣

And finally, we were about to arrive at our destination. I need to tell you a little bit about how the temperature is here. When riding the cable car, the weather here is very hot, and I think it's around 40 degrees Celsius. So I highly recommend wearing sunglasses and wearing a hat. In addition, when riding the cable car, it was quite windy because we passed through the valley, and I also felt the wind mixed with dust because my nose is quite sensitive, so when there is dirty air, I will sneeze. And, of course, this isn't comforting when doing a city tour. Moreover, I left my allergy medicine at the hotel.

If you look at the photos, it seems like there are almost no visitors. This is because there are still restrictions on the number of people who want to perform Umrah. In addition, this is also one of the effects of the corona outbreak. On the trip, I found many uninhabited buildings, hotels were not operating, and some gas stations collapsed. I hope that all business actors in any part of the world will be able to run their businesses again as usual.

The last picture is a bonus photo of me enjoying a glass of iced americano. And behind me is how the atmosphere of the cable car stop. I hope you enjoy my story as well as my photos. Thanks.
