Simple Shoot For Pre-wedding Photography

Hi, friends in the Liketu community. How are you today? I hope we are always in good health to carry out activities well. It is currently the rainy season in my country, and sometimes the heat is so scorching during the day, so some photo sessions must be postponed due to unpredictable weather conditions.

Some time ago, I had the opportunity to do a pre-wedding photo session. Even though this is not my genre of photography, I still agree. This is because the one who asked is my friend. Even though I tried to refuse, she still forced me to do a photo session with me as the photographer.

For me, doing a photo session for pre-wedding is quite tricky. Because I'm not experienced enough to direct the pose to the groom, quite a lot of men don't like to pose in front of the camera, except for men who are experienced as models. So I was pretty reluctant to demonstrate a pose that I think is suitable for the groom.

However, in my opinion, I was lucky enough to get this bride and groom. Because they have a pretty good mood, not as a model, but as a cute couple. So I decided to change all the mood boards that I have made in such a way as to be more candid and have fun. And created the photos that you can see above.

Maybe I will do another pre-wedding photo shoot next time, but only for people I know. Because I still have quite a bit of trouble evoking the mood of each couple. Even though I've helped several other photographers in pre-wedding sessions, I still haven't gotten the feel to jump right into this genre of photography.

A few tips from me for couples and photographers who want to do a pre-wedding photo session, please start from the candid session first, and make the couple joke with each other, so you have to get ready to press the shutter button. For couples, joke around and make random movements and laugh a lot. I'm sure the photos will be good when I see your smile and laughter without having to be directed by the photographer.
