Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge! - Even Stevens (ENG/ITA)

Hello to all friends of Splinterlands !!!

With the introduction of the new Rebellion card edition, us players are dealing with many new abilities, as well as new rulesets that we must face during battles, and some of these rulesets are very limiting. It is therefore of paramount importance to dedicate constant time to increasing your card deck, as uncertainty reigns supreme on Splinterlands; therefore, every addition to the collection could prove to be a lifesaver during daily adventures.

And that's what we'll see today, in this week's Battle Mage Secrets.

Here's a good example of a ruleset that limits our choice in the cards to deploy on the field: Even Stevens, sorry folks, if your favorite monsters have an odd mana cost, they're out. With this rule setting, you can only choose cards that have an even mana cost, but the same goes for your opponent, so there's nothing to complain about.

And these are the rules of the game:

It rarely happens to have only one ruleset, but in this battle, there was only Even Stevens, and a greatly reduced Mana Cap of 19, a big limitation to our card choice.

And here's the battlefield:

I took a bit of a gamble, deploying a pairing that was trendy some time ago, but now it's fallen into oblivion, perhaps because it's no longer as competitive as it used to be: I'm talking about the duo Scarred Llama Mage and Kron the Undying, preceded by 3 monsters with very low cost, namely Furious Chicken, Fungus Fiend, and Swamp Thing.

My opponent, on the other hand, chose a very solid and super-powered team, with Kelya Frendul as summoner, a level 6 Xenith Monk in tank position, Deeplurker and Kulu Swimhunter at level 8, and Torrent Fiend in the last position.

My idea wasn't that bad after all, Kron the Undying had a good chance of surviving alone, but the opposing team was too powered up, Deeplurker and Kulu Swimhunter at level 8 was a devastating pairing to face for any level 1 team like mine.

When playing at high levels, you have to be careful to deploy high-level cards, otherwise, there's no strategy that holds up!!!

Con l'introduzione della nuova edizione di carte Rebellion, noi giocatori abbiamo a che fare con tante abilità nuove, ma anche nuovi ruleset che dobbiamo affrontare durante le battaglie, e alcuni di questi ruleset sono molto limitativi, è quindi di fondamentale importanza dedicare tempo costante all'incremento del vostro mazzo di carte, poiché l'incertezza regna sovrana su Splinterlands; pertanto, ogni aggiunta alla collezione potrebbe rivelarsi un salvavita durante le avventure quotidiane.

Ed è quello che vedremo oggi, nel Battle Mage Secrets di questa settimana.

Ecco un bel esempio di un ruleset che limita la nostra scelta nelle carte da schierare in campo: Even Stevens, mi dispiace ragazzi, se i vostri mostri preferiti hanno un costo dispari di mana, sono fuori. Con questa impostazione delle regole, potete scegliere solo carte che hanno un costo di mana pari, ma lo stesso vale per il vostro avversario, quindi non c'è niente di cui lamentarsi.

E queste sono le regole del gioco:

Raramente accade di aver un solo ruleset, ma in questa battaglia c'era solo Even Stevens, e un Mana Cap molto ridotto di 19, una grande limitazione alla nostra scelta di carte.

Ed ecco il campo di battaglia:

Io ho giocato un po' d'azzardo, andando a schierare un'accoppiata che andava di moda un po' di tempo fa, ma ora è caduta nel dimenticatoio, forse perchè non più competitiva come un tempo: sto parlando della coppia Scarred Llama Mage e Kron the Undying, preceduto da 3 mostri dal bassisimo costo, ovvero Furious Chicken, Fungus Fiend e Swamp Thing.

Il mio avversario è andato, invece, a scegliere una squadra molto solida e super potenziata, con Kelya Frendul come evocatore, un Xenith Monk, livello 6, in posizione tank, Deeplurker e Kulu Swimhunter al livello 8, e Torrent Fiend in ultima posizione.

La mia idea non era poi così male, Kron the Undying aveva una buona possibilità di resistere da solo, ma la squadra avversaria era troppo potenziata, Deeplurker e Kulu Swimhunter a livello 8 era un'accoppiata devastante da affrontare per qualsiasi squadra al livello 1 come la mia.

Quando si gioca ad alti livelli, bisogna fare attenzione a schierare carte di alto livello, altrimenti non c'è strategia che tenga!!!
