Granny # 6. On the way to a new project. (Es/En)

Un feliz y bendecido inicio de semana a todos mis compañeros de esta comunidad NeedleWorkMonday, espero hayan tenido un fin de semana lleno de energías y relax, hoy les vengo a compartir el inicio de un nuevo proyecto, soy amante de los morrales y en el pasado muy pasado recuerdo haberme tejido un morral viajero, como le decían mis amigas, pues era como una caja mágica allí cabía de todo, en un día de la amistad cada quien regalaría algo que fuera especial para el grupo y adivinen que regalé yo pues sí mi bolso.

A happy and blessed beginning of the week to all my colleagues of this NeedleWorkMonday community, I hope you had a weekend full of energy and relax, today I come to share with you the beginning of a new project, I am a backpack lover and in the very past I remember knitting a traveling backpack, as my friends called it, because it was like a magic box where everything fit, in a friendship day each one would give something special for the group and guess what I gave well yes my bag.

Desde entonces cada vez que tejía un bolso alguien se quedaba con él, por lo que no tengo un morral tejido, es por eso que mi proyecto de este mes es poder tejer un morral basado en mi Granny # 6, con flores en relieve cuanto tiempo me tomará por el dolor en las manos que me causa tejer no lo sé, pero de algo si estoy segura “de gota en gota se llena un vaso”.

Since then every time I knitted a bag someone kept it, so I don't have a knitted backpack, that's why my project this month is to knit a backpack based on my Granny # 6, with flowers in relief how long it will take me because of the pain in my hands that knitting causes me I don't know, but I am sure of one thing "from drop to drop a glass is full".

Busqué inspiración para mi sexto Granny en Pinterest, aunque acá lo comparten como parte de una manta, yo me inspiré para mi pequeño morral.

I looked for inspiration for my sixth Granny on Pinterest, although here they share it as part of a blanket, I was inspired for my little backpack.

Con este proyecto espero poder darle vida a estos hilos de macramé acrílico que me quedan del lote de hilos que compré cuando realice le curso en Coats antes de irse de Venezuela, además utilice, ganchillo, corta hilos y yesquero.

With this project I hope to be able to give life to these acrylic macramé threads that I have left from the batch of threads I bought when I took the course at Coats before leaving Venezuela, I also used crochet, thread cutter and tinder.

Comencé mi labor en un anillo mágico; en vez de 4 cadenetas como lo indica el patrón; sobre el anillo tejí 8 arcos, compuesto de 1 punto bajo, 4 cadenetas cerrando con 1 punto bajo, para la base de esta escogí hacerlo en amarillo y negro.

I started my work in a magic ring; instead of 4 chains as indicated in the pattern; over the ring I knitted 8 arches, composed of 1 single crochet, 4 chains closing with 1 single crochet, for the base of the ring I chose to do it in yellow and black.

Para la segunda vuelta usaré hilos diferentes para cada flor, tejí siguiendo el patrón tejiendo sobre cada arco 3 cadenetas, 2 puntos doble alto, 3 cadenetas cerrando con un punto raso en el mismo arco, y para separar cada pétalo tejemos una cadenetas y un punto raso en el siguiente arco. En la siguiente vuelta espero los colores verdes me alcancen para todos los granny que necesito; esta comienza tejiendo un punto bajo en la cadeneta de unión de la vuelta anterior seguido de 4 cadenetas, hasta finalizar la vuelta.

For the second round I will use different yarns for each flower, I knitted following the pattern knitting over each arch 3 chain stitches, 2 double crochets, 3 chain stitches closing with a single crochet in the same arch, and to separate each petal we knit a chain stitch and a single crochet in the next arch. In the next row I hope the green colors are enough for all the granny stitches I need; this one starts knitting a single crochet in the joining chain stitch of the previous row followed by 4 chain stitches, until the end of the row.

Con el mismo hilo de la vuelta anterior tejí tal como lo indica el patrón, dándole ya forma al Granny, luego cambie al color anaranjado que será también un color fijo en esta vuelta de los Granny a necesitar.

With the same yarn of the previous round I knitted as indicated in the pattern, giving shape to the Granny, then I changed to the orange color, which will also be a fixed color in this round of the Granny to be needed.

Ya para finalizar el Granny base mi proyecto, utilicé el color negro, que también será el color de unión de los granny.

To finish the granny base of my project, I used the color black, which will also be the joining color of the granny.
