Hace algún tiempo visité una amiga y ella tiene su casa adornaba con unos cuantos mandala de diferentes materiales, recuerdo ese día estaba yo pasando por algunos desafíos tanto de salud como emocionales, mi amiga me comenzó a comentar la tranquilidad que estos pequeños adornos trajeron a su vida.

Luego de tejer cada piñita, tejemos 4 cadenetas y repetimos el procedimiento hasta finalizar la vuelta, luego cerramos nuestra vuelta con un punto raso en la corona de nuestra primera piñita.

Para convertir mi mandala en marca libros, le tejí 3 cordones de 70 cadenetas para marcar las paginas, luego con un retazo de cartón hice unos flecos de ambos colores y con la ayuda de una aguja lanera tome una hebra de lana y ajuste las lanas y corté para darle forma a los flecos, luego sacando la aguja por el centro de los flecos tomé una perla y la cosí a un cordón, ajusté el hilo y sacándolo nuevamente por medio del fleco corté la hebra, hice lo mismo cada uno de los tres cordones.
To turn my mandala into a bookmark, I wove 3 cords of 70 chains to mark the pages, then with a piece of cardboard I made some bangs of both colors and with the help of a wool needle I took a strand of wool and adjusted the wool and cut it to give shape to the bangs, then taking out the needle through the center of the bangs I took a bead and sewed it to a cord, adjusted the thread and taking it out again through the middle of the fringe I cut the strand, I did the same for each of the three cords.
Luego del otro lado del mandala tejí un cordón con ambos colores de las lanas y le hice un fleco y se lo coloqué con otra perla, para darle un toque más especial a mi marca libro personal.
Then on the other side of the mandala I wove a cord with both colors of the yarns and made a fringe and attached it with another pearl, to give a more special touch to my personal book mark.
Después de tejer este pequeño mandala sentí una gran satisfacción, primero por lograr tejerlo, segundo por la paz que me transmitió al tejerlo y tercero por personalizar mis escrituras, algo que uso a diario son mi escrituras y por ende usare mi marca libros y si llegase a necesitar más cordones simplemente tejeré un nuevo cordón y se lo aplicaré.
After weaving this little mandala I felt a great satisfaction, first for being able to weave it, second for the peace it gave me and third for personalizing my writings, something I use daily are my writings and therefore I will use my book mark and if I need more cords I will simply weave a new cord and I will apply it.
El poder volver a tejer aunque sean pequeñas labores, me ayuda a sentirme conectada con el talento que Dios me ha dado y doy gracias por ello cada día.
Being able to knit again, even if it's just a small craft, helps me feel connected to the talent that God has given me and I am thankful for it every day.
