Happy afternoon to all my beautiful people who love yarn and needles, I did not want to let this week go by without sharing with you the progress on my unfinished work WIP 3, among so many challenges I have had to finish this rug, for me it is like an anti stress therapy, knitting makes me forget a little of my problems and brings me peace.

This rug represents a challenge for me, because I have many years without knitting pieces larger than 30 cm, this rug at the moment is almost 1 meter long and 60 cm wide, so it is a pleasant progress for me. This rug has the peculiarity that its weaving is done in two parts, so I started to work the other side of it.

Resuming the knitting:

I started to knit the other part of the fabric from row 13, which I knitted 1 increase in the first double crochet of the previous row and 1 double crochet, then I knitted 2 chains and a single crochet in the middle of the 4 chains of the previous row, then I knitted 2 chains and again 1 increase in double crochet and 1 double crochet, I repeated the procedure until the other side of the rug was knitted.

>Row 14: in this row I knit 3 double crochet over each stitch of the previous row, then I knit 4 chains and again 3 double crochet over the following double crochet, I repeated the procedure until I reached the first 3 double crochet of the previous row, to finish the row I knit a single crochet over each of the last stitches of the row and the 4 chains, decreasing a group of stitches.

In the odd loops: repeat the procedure of the 13th row and knit one increase in each group of the high stitches of these loops. Making each group wider and wider.

In the even rows: as in the odd rows, repeat the procedure of row 14, always maintaining the same amount of stitches of the previous row, without making any increase in these rows (I write this because it happened to me and I had to unknit later to be able to keep the rhythm of the width of the knitting), remembering at the same time that in each of these rows you finish in the same way one row.

I'm on the 25th row and I still have a few more to finish it, so I will knit two to three rows per day to finish it before the end of the challenge, I thank each of the people who have supported me and commented giving me encouragement to keep moving forward with my work.

I hope to continue counting on your support and appreciation, wishing each of you a happy weekend, do good and be happy with it.
