This is a question many people wonder about, but the truth is, God does not listen to idol worshippers.
Bro Eli Soriano in his wonderful teaching made us to understand that; Idol worshippers go against the commandments of God. Our God is a jealous God and his glory should not be shared with any man not to talk of mere idols carved and created by man whom he created.
God desists those who worship idols, and because of that, it keeps them away from God because light and darkness have nothing in common. As christians, we must worship God in spirit and truth, and him alone shall we serve for he is our creator and his purpose for creating us is for us to worship him alone. So many people think that idol worshippers is only those who worship images, the truth is we can be worship idols when material things start taking place in our hearts more than the things of God.
As christians, let us not allow the things of the world to take place in our hearts more than the things of God. We should always worship him in spirit and truth.
Our God is loving and kind, he is always ready to forgive those who worship idols if they repent and come back to him.
