Una actividad muy esperada - (Esp-Eng)

¡Hola a todos mis estimadas amigas y amigos lectores!, espero que se encuentren muy bien, llenos de mucho amor y cariño, que esta semana que empieza pueda ser de mucha bendición y provecho, llena de salud, y prosperidad para todos.

Hace pocos días se celebró el día del niño y como ustedes saben o si no lo saben lo sabrán 🤭 que estuvimos (digo estuvimos porque somos varias mujeres) haciendo varias actividades para recolectar dinero y poder hacerles a los niños una celebración especial, de allí surgió la idea de la cocina de aprendizaje con amor
(si lees mis post anteriores tendrás una idea de que se trata esta iniciativa)

El poder celebrar el día del niño me remonta a épocas muy especiales de mi niñez, el poder celebrar con diversos juegos, golosinas, y la calidez de otros niños y niñas me llenaban de alegría y regocijo, haciéndome sentir única y especial.

El poder ahora ser parte de ese equipo que hace posible que los niños tengan un día diferente es genial (además me hace pensar en lo rápido que pasa el tiempo)
¡Ya no soy una niña! Porque a pesar de que extraño con melancolía esas épocas de mi infancia, en este presente puedo decir que siento la misma sensación de gratitud porque me llenan igual el poder dibujar sonrisas e ilusiones en los más pequeños.

Hello to all my dear friends readers, I hope you are doing very well, full of love and affection, that this week that begins can be of much blessing and profit full of health and prosperity for all.

A few days ago the children's day was celebrated and as you know or if you don't know you will know 🤭 we were (I say we were because we are several women) doing several activities to collect money to give the children a special celebration, from there came the idea of the learning kitchen with love (if you read my previous posts you will have an idea of what this initiative is about).

Being able to celebrate children's day takes me back to very special times of my childhood, being able to celebrate with different games, treats, and the warmth of other children filled me with joy and happiness, making me feel unique and special.

Now being part of the team that makes it possible for children to have a different kind of day is great (plus it makes me think about how fast time goes by).
I'm not a kid anymore! Because even though I miss with melancholy those times of my childhood, in this present I can say that I feel the same sense of gratitude because they fill me the same to be able to draw smiles and illusions in the little ones.

Esta celebración la hicimos una semana después de la fecha pautada en el calendario porque no teníamos los recursos para garantizar que todos los niños que asistirían pudieran ser bien atendidos, agasajados y hacerlos sentir especial. Ya que no estoy de acuerdo con hacer una celebración y que a algunos niños se les dé un cotillón y a otros no, no lo veo ni bien ni justo, por eso decidimos posponerla dando tiempo de recaudar un poco más de dinero.

En vista de que no se contaba con la suficiente cantidad monetaria, la estrategia que usamos fue delegar a un responsable por calle, el cual se encargaría de que cada niño de su calle fuera atendido, además, se organizarían entre los vecinos para hacer un pastel para los niños, y para nuestra sorpresa algunos representantes llevaron golosinas y comida adicionales para todos los niños lo cual ayudó bastante a ser distribuida de manera equitativa.

En mi calle hay muchísimos niños, por nuestra parte con lo que teníamos en nuestra reserva de las ventas realizadas de todos los dulces para unos 200 niños, desde Ponquesitos, hasta cotufa, galletas, chupetas, caramelos, y pudimos hacer una linda torta para que los niños pudieran disfrutar, colaboramos con algunas golosinas y cotillones y también logramos aportamos para el castillo inflable.

We did this celebration a week after the date on the calendar because we did not have the resources to guarantee that all the children who would attend could be well attended, entertained and made to feel special. Since I do not agree with having a celebration and that some children are given a cotillion and others are not, I do not see it as right or fair, so we decided to postpone it giving us time to raise a little more money.

Since we did not have enough money, the strategy we used was to delegate a person in charge per street, who would make sure that each child in his or her street was taken care of, also, they would organize among the neighbors to make a cake for the children, and to our surprise some representatives brought extra candy and food for all the children which helped a lot to be distributed in an equitable way.

In my street there are a lot of children, for our part with what we had in our reserve from the sales of all the sweets for about 200 children, from Ponquesitos, to cotufa, cookies, lollipops, candy, and we could make a nice cake for the children to enjoy, we collaborated with some candy and cotillions and also managed to contribute to the bouncy castle.

La verdad los niños la pasaron muy bien, se les podía notar la alegría a flor de piel, el lugar se llenó de gritos, carreras, juegos. Incluso la pequeña Esther pudo disfrutar de unos pequeños momentos en el castillo inflable. Estaba muy ansiosa de poder entrar al castillo, una vez adentro le dio mucho miedo y me pidió que la sacara, de igual manera sucedió en el trampolín, me llene de mucha paciencia, era su primera vez en estos juegos y le daba un poco de miedo, también disfruto mucho le que le hicieran algunos dibujos en su carita, la verdad es que estaba bastante contenta corriendo por todo el lugar.

Asistieron muchos niños, gracias a Dios pudimos abastecernos con todos los insumos para poder complacer a todos los niños con sus golosinas, cotillones, premios, y también gracias al apoyo de las mismas vecinas del sector pudimos hacer unas pinta caritas, lo cual hizo que los niños se pusieran aún más contentos.

La decoración fue bastante sencilla, fue muy significativa porque realmente fue elaborada con mucho esfuerzo colectivo porque pensamos que no íbamos a poder realizar nada por la falta de dinero, al final todo resultó muy bien y pudimos hacer un día diferente para los niños.

El dinero recaudado fue utilizado para este fin, y seguiremos haciendo muchas cosas más para seguir ayudando a los niños del sector, como lo veníamos haciendo anteriormente con sus útiles, zapatos, uniformes, cuadernos, y lo que este a nuestro alcance.

The truth is that the children had a great time, you could feel the joy in their skin, the place was filled with screams, races and games. Even little Esther was able to enjoy a few moments in the bouncy castle. She was very anxious to enter the castle, once inside she was very scared and asked me to take her out, the same happened in the trampoline, I was very patient, it was her first time in these games and she was a little scared, she also enjoyed a lot to have some drawings on her face, the truth is that she was quite happy running all over the place.

Many children attended, thank God we were able to stock up with all the supplies to be able to please all the children with their candy, cotillions, prizes, and also thanks to the support of the same neighbors of the sector we were able to do some face painting, which made the children even happier.

The decoration was quite simple, it was very significant because it was really elaborated with a lot of collective effort because we thought we were not going to be able to do anything due to the lack of money, in the end everything turned out very well and we were able to make a different day for the children.

The money raised was used for this purpose, and we will continue to do many more things to continue helping the children of the sector, as we have been doing before with their school supplies, shoes, uniforms, notebooks, and whatever is within our reach.
