By this I do not mean that we should completely distance ourselves from those who do not support us, because unfortunately there may be family members in that group and this can make the distance much more complicated, but what we can do is decrease the contact and maximize the contact with those who support us more in our achievements.

Si hay algo que puede potenciar nuestras probabilidades de éxito en algo es estar rodeados de personas que tienen el mismo interés que nosotros, con expertos que nos pueden ayudar con conocimientos y experiencias distintas a las que nosotros tenemos y podamos de esta manera ser más creativos con respecto a las ideas que podamos tener y también personas que nos motiven a ir mas allá, aun cuando no saben lo que queremos hacer o como se hace.

Estar rodeados de personas que nos apoyen a ir mas allá es la manera más fácil y segura de lograr grandes cosas, pueden darnos la energía para continuar adelante cuando queramos terminar con lo que hacemos y también pueden ayudarnos a ver que tal vez los problemas que nosotros vemos como algo grande, son en realidad algo pequeño y fácil de solucionar.

Por el contrario tenemos a las personas que nos disminuyen la energía a través de decirnos que es imposible por muchas razones pero no nos dan alternativas (hay cosas que si son realmente difíciles de lograr, pero cuando solo criticamos y no damos una alternativa pasamos de ser expertos a ser solo críticos), como también quienes no creen en nosotros, aun cuando han vivido cerca de nosotros por una buena parte de nuestra vida.

Es fácil saber lo que ocurre cuando estamos más cerca de unas personas que de otras porque somos seres sociales y requerimos tener contacto con otras personas, pero estas personas pueden influir en nosotros tal como nosotros podemos influir en ellos, y por eso es necesario que veamos qué tipo de personas somos cuando se refiere a los objetivos de los demás.

Con esto no quiero decir que debemos alejarnos completamente de quienes no nos apoyan, porque lamentablemente pueden haber familiares en ese grupo y esto puede complicar mucho más el alejamiento, pero lo que si podemos hacer es disminuir el contacto y maximizar el contacto con aquellos que nos apoyen más en nuestros logros.

También debemos tomar en cuenta que esto que nosotros podemos pensar de con quienes estamos la mayor parte del tiempo lo deben pensar las otras personas también, por lo que es bueno que sepamos si apoyamos o no a quienes nos rodean.
