How I made a female slide using a patterned black leather to compliment a mini bag.

Happy new week to you all. This morning I want to share with us my recent creation. It is the making of a female slide. I made it for a customer who made a bag and requested I make a slide using the black leather of the bag alone. That was how the creation of this slide came to being.

Since I've made a post on how to make this bag, I won't go into its detail. I'll be focusing on the female slide and how I made it.

MATERIALS USED INCLUDE:

• Nora
• Maco 2
• Soft black leather
• Patterned black leather
• Gum
• Leather glue

PROCESS

• The first thing I did was to mark and cut the size pattern on the Nora and reduced size on the maco 2. Next, I gummed the maco on the Nora and gum the soft black leather to it.

• Here I cut the shape of the strap out, gum it on the lining and cut the excess edges out.

• Next I gummed the the soft black leather to the top of the maco and trim it out.

• Here I marked the point I'll fix the strap, cut it out and fix in the strap with the help of a shoe last.

• Here I gummed the heels to the sole Nora and after that I gummed the strap to the insole Nora.

• Finally I gummed the top sole to the sole beneath and I filed the edges.
