Happy new month everyone and welcome to Afritines week 47. Today I will be doing a cover of the song Airplane Mode by Fireboy. The song is something that just popped up on my mind this afternoon as I was laying on my bed with my mind drifting far away. Presently, I have a lot on my mind and I just want all the disturbance and distractions to be put on hold but I know that might not be possible. As an adult, you have responsibilities, things and people you answer to and sometimes to get that alone time can be so difficult. In as much as it is so difficult to achieve, I think it's necessary to strive for it once in a while. If one doesn't take any form of breaks, it can lead to a bigger problem.
Fireboy is a Nigerian musician and one of my favorite artists. I love most his songs and I think he's quite talented. I'm so happy to see him get the flowers he deserves. When I heard him sing in the Black Panther part 2, it warms my heart. Probably I'll be doing a cover of that song next week hopefully 🙏.

Adolescent age comes along with tight responsibilities that we can't run away from even if we try. What keeps us going is the mindset to never relent but persevere even in hard times.. Thank you so so much Ovey. Its sometimes difficult to keep going and when you think it's about to get better, it only become worse. I'm trying my best to stay positive and cope through it all. But I know with time, it will all get better.

It's not easy singing fast for me too. I tried my best to reduce the tempo a bit compared to the original version so it will be slower to sing for me. You can try it to and rehearse with it. I'm sure you'd be able to do it too.
