Things you need to know before you quit your job.

Have you been planning to quit your job for a while now but you don't know how to go about it? Then you need to read this and pay close attention. Many people plan to quit their jobs without making the necessary preparation. There are things to note and understand, things you need to do before you make the decision of quitting your job. Quitting itself is not a bad decision. Infact it can prove to be the best decision you've ever made but in order to do that, you need to set some things in order which I will be explaining to us in this post.

You need to understand that you can't quit without having enough emergency funds that will sustain you for the next few months of you quitting. Before you take the decision, you must have saved enough money to sustain you because sometimes things dont always go as planned immediately. It sometimes takes time before the needed result is being yielded. What will help you sustain that period is your emergency funds.

You must be sure that the income you make from your side hustle is greater than your monthly expenses. If your income is lower than your monthly expenses, it means that income is not enough to sustain you and it means you need more time to grow the business to the level that you're earning enough to sustain yourself and your family(if you have one) each month.

It's very important to be skilled in your field so much that you're capable to turn your side hustle into your main business. You can't just create a business and because you've made some few big sales, you decide to quit. If you are not ready to put everything you have in developing the business and investing fully in it, then you're not ready to quit your regular job. You need that one as a support. If you will be quitting, you need to be fully equipped with enough skills to turn your hustle to a real and big business. You must be very focused and make success your no 1 goal and priority. You need to give it all you have and go extra miles to make the business work. It requires lots of hardwork which you must be ready to put into it.

Finally, you must be ready to put in atleast 10hours into your business every single day. Either its a business or a skill you're rendering. You must be ready to motivate yourself, be your own boss, encourage yourself and scold yourself if needed. You can't afford to treat your work anyhow. There are lots of things that goes into creating success. That is why you have a boss at your place of work to guide you and put you on the right track. Being self employed means you have to do all that by yourself for yourself and generate tangible results.
Its important to note that it is very possible to achieve success in your field/business because there are lots of people who has created huge brands for themselves from scratch. You can do it too, just be ready to put in the extra work.
