Hello everyone,

Welcome to Hive open mic week 163. I'm super excited to be here again this week with my presentation and today I will be doing a cover of the song Alone by Burna Boy. The theme for this week is "Pasión por el Arte" which means "Passion for art". Special shoutout to @albertocoachbl for choosing such a wonderful theme.

At the beginning of this week when I saw the theme, I said to myself I was going to sing a song with my guitar. Even though I've stopped my training a while ago, I planned to use the whole of the week to practice and pick some simple chords to sing with a simple song. Unfortunately I came down with Malaria around Tuesday and that spoiled my plans. All I had in mind was to get better and hopefully I'd be able to even sing before the end of the week. Thankfully I felt better around yesterday and I decided to look for a song that can go in line with the theme to sing for my presentation. After a while, my mind went to Alone by Burna Boy. To me, this song is an amazing work of art. Burna Boy is a Nigerian musician and he made this particular song for the marvel movie Black Panther part two.

We all know Wakanda is an African developed country so the song had to portray some sweet melodies of Africa in a sophisticated way and He did justice to that. When I first heard the song in the movie, I was captivated. What I love the most about the song is the use of traditional drums embedded in the song. It gave the song this unique sound which is beautiful and pleasing to my ears. Due to thessle reasons, it became my choice for this theme. Only a genuine passion for art can bring about that kind of song.

I decided to accompany the song with instrumental which I generated here and I did try my best to sing the song as best as I could with the little strength I was able to gather. I do hope you enjoy this cover.

Hola a todos,

Bienvenidos a la semana 163 de micrófono abierto de Hive. Estoy muy emocionado de estar aquí nuevamente esta semana con mi presentación y hoy haré una versión de la canción Alone de Burna Boy. El tema de esta semana es "Pasión por el Arte" que significa "Pasión por el arte". Un saludo especial a @albertocoachbl por elegir un tema tan maravilloso.

A principios de esta semana cuando vi el tema me dije que iba a cantar una canción con mi guitarra. Aunque detuve mi entrenamiento hace un tiempo, planeé usar toda la semana para practicar y elegir algunos acordes simples para cantar con una canción simple. Desafortunadamente, me enfermé de malaria alrededor del martes y eso arruinó mis planes. Todo lo que tenía en mente era mejorar y, con suerte, podría incluso cantar antes del final de la semana. Afortunadamente me sentí mejor ayer y decidí buscar una canción que pueda ir en línea con el tema para cantar en mi presentación. Después de un tiempo, mi mente fue a Alone de Burna Boy. Para mí, esta canción es una obra de arte increíble. Burna Boy es un músico nigeriano e hizo esta canción en particular para la película de Marvel Black Panther, parte dos.

Todos sabemos que Wakanda es un país africano desarrollado, por lo que la canción tenía que representar algunas melodías dulces de África de una manera sofisticada y Él hizo justicia a eso. Cuando escuché por primera vez la canción en la película, me cautivó. Lo que más me gusta de la canción es el uso de tambores tradicionales incrustados en la canción. Le dio a la canción este sonido único que es hermoso y agradable para mis oídos. Debido a estas razones, se convirtió en mi elección para este tema. Solo una genuina pasión por el arte puede producir ese tipo de canción.

Decidí acompañar la canción con instrumental que generé aquí e hice mi mejor esfuerzo para cantar la canción lo mejor que pude con las pocas fuerzas pude juntar. Espero que disfrutéis de esta portada.
