LOH contest #99 MY SET GOALS BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR

Normally, I'm the kind of person who doesn't set goals, i just go with the flow, but the recent happenings concerning the very bad economy in my country and things geting really expensive, it seems we now work without seeing what we are working for at the end of the day because of so much expenses being made, being a mum of two children doesn't make it easier either, i have no other choice than to start setting goals and making sure to achieve them.

My goals before the end of the year are as follows;

1.Savings
2.Upgrade
3.Get a machine and tools for work
4.Get better on Hive
5.Baby's birthday

SAVINGS

As I stated above, it's really hard to save presently due to the harsh economy, but around July this year,I started being persistent in my savings, no matter the little income I get, i make sure I save something out of it then manage the rest till the next income, to make this possible, i made my savings account dormant, so I don't get tempted to touch my savings during the rainy days. The savings will make me achieve my other set goals easily if I am consistent and disciplined, i pray I'm able to achieve this goal because it's so important to me.

UPGRADE
I'm a fashion designer, i make mostly female adult and kiddies wear, in my line of work, you can't learn everything , you learn as you go because new fashion trends and styles comes up everyday, so I'm hoping with my savings, i will be able to go for some upgrade classes which will help build up my career and client base, i don't want to fall behind, I'm always ready to learn new things in this passion and profession I've choosen for myself, so hopefully, I meet up this goal by the end of the year.

BUYING OF MACHINE AND TOOLS FOR WORK

I've been in my line of work as a fashion designer for two years now, and I work with just a single sewing machine for now, my goal at the end of this year is to be able to get another sewing machine added to the one i have so that i will be able to get an assistant who will support me in increasing productivity and definitely, income gets improved too.
Also a weaving machine to give my work neat finishing at the rough edges because I do go outside to pay people who have this machine to get my dresses weaved, i want to be able to do it myself because I've had bad experiences of them delay my delivery date to the client somerimes, ruining the dress i suffered to make due to negligence or carelessness and make me disappoint a client, feels really terrible.
In addition, get other minor tools that makes work easier and faster.

GET BETTER ON HIVE
If you check my profile, you will see I'm a newbie on hive, the thing is, this is my first ever joining a platform like this, I've never really had the opportunity of expressive myself this way on any platform and I really find hive interesting. I don't know how it all works here yet, so I'm hoping to learn, get better, increase my reputation and be a very good hiver haha, by the time the year ends.

BABY'S BIRTHDAY

I had my second baby on October 10 last year, she's been a really happy and great blessing to us, so I'm planning on organising a small birthday party for her, make a beautiful princess birthday dress and cakes too. Her one year with us has been so exciting, she's a peaceful and wonderful baby, her name is 'Peace' by the way.

I pray they all become achievable before the year comes to an end.
