Indeed times have changed, comparing the time of our fore fathers and the present time, for this post, I will be writing about how things have become so much easier for us now in terms of

• Transportation

• Technology
• Education
• entertainment

Those days, they walked miles before they could get to their destination, then they moved to using animals such as horses, camels from there on to bicycles, still, all these can't be compared to the cars, motorbikes we have now, even international travels was almost impossible except for the more civilised countries that travelled by water through the help of ships, which takes months even up to a year at times on water to reach their destination. Now, we have the aeroplane, jets, helicopters that can make local and international travels less stressful and very little time frame, If they were here to witness this new improved generation, I'm sure they will choose ours over theirs.

For this post, I will be focusing on our pregnant mothers and new born babies, I know a lot of people will say the mothers of those days gave birth to a lot of children but do you know that the mortality rate of mother and child was high then compared to now due to the invent of advanced equipment and more knowledge acquired through research, a lot of things can be detected as early as the pregnancy began, to prevent further complications during the pregnancy and the day of delivery, please, I will choose the well equipped hospitals to giving birth at home.

Technology

This is the most advantage we have because a lot of other things fall other this category.

• Cooking Appliances

Have you ever tried using firewoods to cook before? The setting of fire, blowing it and of course the smoke which don't only end up in the air but also your hair and clothes, this very task is exhausting, I prefer our gas cooker, electric blender instead of the grinding stone and a lot of other appliances readily available even at cheaper and affordable rates which make the cooking process less tasking and time saving too.

Let me also add one domestic appliance, the washing machine another invention that makes life easier, instead of taking your clothes to the river to wash like they do then, the washing machine does the job while you relax or do something else with the time you would have spent washing and stressing.

• Wonders of Computer

Those days sending messages was a really difficult task, they sometimes have to look for someone who was going towards the location of the person they need to send a message to, unlike now, almost everyone around has as mobile device, you can just make a call or send an Instant message. The world has literally become a global village, you can be anywhere in the world and reach someone in another continent just by the tip of your fingers, what can be more easier than that? We are really enjoying in this era.

A lot of people has also developed a skill just by watching YouTube videos, and earning at the comforts of their home, Life is now easier in that aspect. Also take the Hive blockchain for example, do you know a lot of people use here as their basic source of income even most of us as side income, Life is really easier now, you don't need stressing yourself going to the farm like everybody do then, there are agriculturist taking care of that aspect.

Education

Gone are the days where the most population of the word were illiterates, now we are more learned, and with education, a lot of things done ignorantly before in terms of some cultures and superstitions, are gradually fading off, people know better now, girl child are not pushed to a husband house in their early teens again and forced to become mothers, they go to school just like the male gender, and we have seen them explore and do well, even becoming solutions to some of the world's problem.

Entertainment

Before, they had to depend on themselves to have a form of entertainment, now there are various ways in which we could get entertained, without physically involving anybody, from listening to music on your devices, to virtual games, or just watching movies and a lot more.

This topic is a very vast one, but since we are focusing on life being easier, the modern day has it for me and the few points I've just raised above have said it all.
