A special art craft common in the children of Nigeria ☺️☺️

avatar

If you are a Nigerian you will know that this is the most trendy game amongst the young ones. Both the children of the rich and that of the poor or should I say the average man child are all participating in this build up, and to think of it that I have always been so curious as to what this is all about.
Since the beginning of this year I have really been wondering what this is made up of and today my little nephew came back with it and he showed me how to do it🤗🤗.
Well I will share it here.

One would wonder what this is but I will save you the stress😊😊
These are all rubber gotten from the lid of any plastic soft drink👇👇👇

If you look so closely you will see that the bottles above has different cover lid.
It is carefully removed from the bottle lid

After that you Bend it👇👇

Then try to insert it this way, then you continue that trend untill you get the length that you want then you can stop.

Now the aim of this art work is to get a skipping rope, should I say an improvised skipping road since the original isnt available dur to lack.of resources to gather it. It can also be used to get a chain to wear on the neck👇👇👇👇👇👇

So to achieve this the children goes round looking for empty and unused plastic soft drink bottles in other to get the rubber used for it.

So after trying my luck I decide to use it to form numbers from 1-10😊😊👇👇👇.

If no kid around anyone here does this, then the person is missing out on this trend because almost every child in my neighborhood does this including my kid bro.

He said he wants to make a skipping rope out of his own and to think that these days young children make things out of nothing or recycle things into something useful wow us.

Just last week I saw a clothing shop (boutique) use this to put their hangers for dresses.
Speak of solving problems 😊kudus to our younger generation.
