There is this popular poem by ** Ann Taylor** that entails everything I would love to say about you my greatest jewel and it goes thus;

Who fed me from her gentle breast,
And hush’d me in her arms to rest,

When sleep forsook my open eye,
Who was it sung sweet hushaby,
And rock’d me that I should not cry?

Who sat and watched my infant head,
When sleeping in my cradle bed,
And tears of sweet affection shed?

When pain and sickness made me cry,
Who gazed upon my heavy eye,
And wept for fear that I should die?

Who dress’d my doll in clothes so gay,

I Know what you have been through for our sake;
I am aware of all the pains and struggles;
You are a rare gem and I wouldn't tread you for anything.
Thanks for carrying us this long and far;
The shame and disgrace you've been through because of us is unthinkable;
We see your secret pains;
We hear your grumbling;
All these you do for our sake;
We are grateful to have a gold like you;
No matter what we will do we can't pay you for all you have done for us.

My prayer for You today is that as you clock this new age may God grant all your heart desires and again may You live to eat all the fruit of your labour.
