The weekend is for.... Fix aesthetic problems 🧐

Hey! Today a part of my skills that I didn't know about was born, an unexplored area, far away from my comfort zone, but that felt the need to come out: "My stylist self" 😎

Let me clarify that to take on this challenge I had to read a lot of comments on Google, watch videos on Youtube and gain courage, because when it comes to working with someone else's hair, the pressure is too much and, although she is my mom, I still wanted to do my best to help her. It all started when my mom told us that she wanted to change her look, because her birthday and my younger sister's school graduation were coming up; and after a little research, she decided that she wanted to paint her hair platinum blonde. From the first moment I was against the idea, since I am aware that this shade requires the expertise of a professional and the care is usually expensive, but who could get that idea out of her?

In the end I bought the things I would need to do it and that would be my gift, talked to a neighbor who does this type of work and they got down to work. After several hours, the moment of truth came and things did not go so well, as I had already predicted.

The girl claimed that the pigmentation of my mother's hair did not help the result, and it may be true, but I admit that it bothers me that she did not try to solve it, because it did not look good at all. To avoid conflicts we left things like that, but the next day it occurred to me that we could make a style based on the previous result.

We already had a dark brown "America perfect" hair dye, I read that it was better to wait 72 hours before making any changes, but tomorrow is the act and my mom had even lost the desire to go. So, I divided the hair into 2 parts and started the procedure to color it again.

The first thing I did was mix a little dye with water and with the help of a brush I spread it all over the root, I let it act for 10 minutes. I clarify that I was separating the part of the hair that I was going to dye, in several sections so that it covered the gray hair as best as possible.

Once the 10min were up, I proceeded to mix the dye with 20% hydrogen peroxide, and following the same process as before, I spread it throughout the hair from roots to ends. Covering it all, I left the app for another 20min. To finish, she washed her hair with plenty of water, applied conditioner and a moisturizing mask.

She was very anxious to see the result, but she was very happy and I think she looks much better, in addition, she has a curtain style that makes her look more youthful. In the end everything turned out fine, now we just have to buy a moisturizing treatment to repair the damage caused by so many chemicals. What do you think of the result?
